The story it tells, of doctors struggling to keep up with the workload in the hospital, of the patients who each have their lives and meet new people in the hospital, is heightened by the gameplay and the presentation. The gameplay evolves with many different types of beats to handle, along with visuals and music which both support the story wonderfully.
And, of course, what the game does when it goes to windowed mode and uses the full range of possibilities that being able to control it opens, makes this even more amazing !
I did struggle a bit with some levels, and the simplicity of pressing one button, as well as having to retry the levels from the start when failing, made it so that I got slightly annoyed or frustrated at some points. I change the difficulty to easy at the end, in order to enjoy the experience rather than have a hard time and get frustrated, which I think was the right call. Getting perfect S ranks isn't for me either, and that's ok.
That last level was really worth reaching that point. It's amazing how the gameplay, visuals, music, and windowed mode wizardry all come together for an insane send-off.

\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tWhile the soundtrack selection is definitely not what I would pick, as you get further in the game you will realize the levels gradually become handcrafted experiences rather than traditional "charts" like you would find in other rythym games. Despite requiring a single button some of the bosses are hands downs the best experiences I've ever had banging my head against a difficult rhythm game, but they give you checkpoints if you need them because you might.

I LOVE this game. these are the people that made ADOFAI and I gotten this game on sale which btw... it is DEFINETLY worth the 20$ it originally was. I am currently physically blind folding myself and doing a perfect only Run rn. I wish I'd pay the full 20$ now, got it cause haha funny rhythm game, gonna be a easy 100% game... NOPE, far FAR from that. had to relearn rhythm games after 600+ hours of rhythm games... 1/7th beat and 1/5 beat feels so wrong against rhythm theory and I love the challenge. Give the Devs some love, play the game, even the story is GREAT aswell, trust. you won't regret it, and the community can make more songs too! love you devs!\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

And then there's a bunch of levels I would say are so unmusical that I don't think they really fit with the rest of the game. You're not trying to play a rhythm anymore you're just trying to ignore the game.
I'd much rather have had a lot of mid-tier difficulty stuff that was hard but not resorting to noise to be hard.

I am a big fan of piracy. Art and media is for the people. Art is something that should be easily accessible to everyone. That being said, this game earned my money. I'll probably play a bit more - maybe even try and push through act 6 to the end - But after completing act 5, I decided it's time for me to pay up.
Excellent work. This is the kind of game I can only really recommend to music nerds and folks who have some understanding of game design. I can't recommend this to everyone, and I intend that as a compliment.

Going to comment on the elements that really elevated this game for me below. If you haven't gotten to act 6 in the game, I suggest finding out for yourself.
There are a few things that really clicked with me here.
First, using excellent visual/audio design to make a non-musician understand 7/8. That was pretty cool, and I don't know another medium that could have done that.
Second, the BANGER 5-x using the window movement tricks to really lock in that anime/scott pilgrim mood
Third, using windows error sounds to f*** with my rhythm. That was a really mean trick, and I was absolutely cackling at how funny it was that it got me.
In conclusion, if you are on the fence about buying this game, it's probably for you. You will know in the 2-4h refund window if you've got the chops for the rhythm/gameplay demands, and there is some really special game design in here.

Excellent work. This is the kind of game I can only really recommend to music nerds and folks who have some understanding of game design. I can't recommend this to everyone, and I intend that as a compliment.

Going to comment on the elements that really elevated this game for me below. If you haven't gotten to act 6 in the game, I suggest finding out for yourself.
There are a few things that really clicked with me here.
First, using excellent visual/audio design to make a non-musician understand 7/8. That was pretty cool, and I don't know another medium that could have done that.
Second, the BANGER 5-x using the window movement tricks to really lock in that anime/scott pilgrim mood
Third, using windows error sounds to f*** with my rhythm. That was a really mean trick, and I was absolutely cackling at how funny it was that it got me.
In conclusion, if you are on the fence about buying this game, it's probably for you. You will know in the 2-4h refund window if you've got the chops for the rhythm/gameplay demands, and there is some really special game design in here.
