In the off chance that you, reader, are carelessly started reading reviews in order to decide whether or not you should play this game (even though you have already been adverted that you absolutely should go into the game blind), let me summarize in a spoiler-free manner a few of the aspects that you might find unfun, and give you some advice for free:
1. The base game might induce cosmic dread, and the DLC (Echoes of the Eye) might be frightening. The game is definitely not trying to get you to your nerves, and it is by no means a horror game, but it might demand you to have the guts to procede (for the lack of a better word). Go on exploring the solar system is definitvely an adventurous endeavor, but I definitely felt uneasiness when comtemplating the unknown and the unavoidable, the vast and the huge, and unknown and the unforgiving... But to me this is part of the core experience of the game, and it wouldn't be awesome without it. Overcome your fears!

The very first time you are playing this game, you should be aiming for a 45-minute session (or more), striving for not killing off your character with weird antics for at least that time, and using and trying all of the gadgets you will be given.

if you are struggling with something, first take a break. try again. try a few more times, try another approach, look around for a while. try again. if all else fails, don't look things up, just try posting blindly on reddit. the community is very good about spoilers and nudging you in the right direction. there is a decent "spoiler free" guide in the steam community tab but it's only really useful when you've significantly progressed and otherwise could be risky to look at. and know that you will struggle, it's not an easy or straightforward game, but it's worthwhile.
before the end:
play the DLC in full before triggering the base game ending. you'll know when you know how to do it. i mean, go for it if you really want to. but i found it rewarding and it made more sense for me to gain the knowledge in the DLC first. mild spoiler: you also get a bit of a different experience in the end for having done so, and imo, that's not something you can get back if you do it the other way around. \t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

This is a game you want to go into as blind as possible as in a game like this the fun of it is exploring and putting the answers to the puzzles and figuring out what is happening is the fun of it. From dialogue with characters that changes over time to finding ruins and text and how they all correlate to help you with figuring out one of your goals.
If you are like me and love story and having to think on what you're learning and how it all works then this is for you. Just keep in mind that any spoilers you gain may change you're experience and that everyone plays in different ways but no matter what, this is a game that the main bulk of the world can only be experienced once.

Главное - рекомендую не смотреть гайдов или прохождений по игре, лучше поиследуйте другие планеты, перечитайте журнал. Дойти до решения проблемы самому в разы приятнее, чем сдаться и полезть в гайд.
