Once I had gotten the info of two crewmates to a point I felt somewhat confident in, I'd find a Chinese sailor I'd seen die and cycle through their names until the three new fates were solved, or nothing happened. If nothing, change the cause of death or find my second-guess identity, then cycle through the chinese guys again.
Once I ran out of Chinese guys, things got a bit more complicated.
Certainly the only game I have played and will ever play that involves "Two Maybes and a Chinese Guy."

\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tHoly what a hidden gem of a game, I cant say I have played a game quite like this one, Return of the Obra Dinn puts you in the shoes of an investigator for the East India Company, you have to find out why the Obra Dinn has been missing for 5 years and what happened to all of its crew, to do this you are given a book and a special pocket watch that will help you figure out what has happened through glimpses of the past, you will need to figure out who everyone is and how they died or survived.
This game is pretty damn hard to figure out every case that needs to be solved but damn is it good when you do get it right, there was times where i doubted myself and even the game when it told me all the evidence is there to solve it but i cracked on with it and solved all cases on my first save.

Even after you've solved the mystery of the game there's still decent replay value in going back through and finding clues you missed the first time as well as understanding more of the context of all the scenes and relationships between the characters. A few minor issues I have such as the pacing at time, the sometimes harsh-to-look-at art style, and the complexity of menu navigation keep me from giving a perfect score but it's an easy 9/10 game for me, I think it's brilliant.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t
