But me? I think the human condition is spending forty-five minutes carefully curating a deck of cards, feeling like an absolute tactical genius, and then getting body-slammed into oblivion by a sentient donut named Donu.
It all begins simply enough. You're handed a deck of cards and sent into a tower where every decision is shaped by uncertainty and randomness. You pick a character, you climb, you build a deck. It sounds simple – it isn't.
Every mechanic in this game eventually leads to the same outcome: pain. Sweet, exquisite pain. The RNG is so vicious it feels personal. One minute, you're planning this masterful synergy; the next, the game completely bricks your draws while an enemy relentlessly chips away at your health. You try to greed for one more elite, and you get punished spectacularly.
But somehow, the agony makes the pleasure better. After twenty lowroll runs of getting greeded into oblivion, you finally hit the highroll. You assemble The Build. Suddenly, you're going infinite. You're popping off for 999 damage in a single turn. Even the final boss – the one that previously ended so many promising runs – now just shatters. It's this brief, intoxicating reward that washes away hours of suffering.
It's just a cycle of hope, heartbreak, and the stubborn belief that the next run – this one right here – is definitely the one. That's the obsession that keeps you reloading. Turns out the thinkers were right about the suffering, futility, and fleeting beauty; they just forgot to mention the cards and the donut.

Also personally, if you get at least a half-decent run, it ends up being the perfect length to listen to an album. So whenever I want to listen to a new album or relisten to one of my favorites, I almost always turn this on. Just a thought I wanted to add.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t
