\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tI watched the tv show on Netflix inspired by this game before I ever even knew the game existed, but when I found out it did I stopped watching the show so I could play the game before finishing it. Starts off with a good twist right away, and the first few chapters were pretty terrifying in my opinion, but I'm also a huge coward when it comes to horror. The final few chapters switch to something more abstract and psychological, which is honestly a nice change after the more grounded horror, and explores more about the character you play as and what led to their current situation. The atmosphere in this game is phenomenal, and the music and sound design only make it better. The story is told in an interesting way, and the blend of horror and the actual history of the time period it's set in is very interesting. There are only two endings to the game I believe, but the one I got was very bittersweet and beautiful. All this to say the game is absolute peak, and as I was playing I didn't want to put it down. I finished the game in two days lol. But yeah if you're thinking about it definitely try it out, it's a great experience overall 10/10 fr fr.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

Detention is a game disturbing for none of the reasons you would expect. To go into the theming too deeply would undermine the way that the story evolves, so I would encourage simply picking it up and giving it a play.A SURFACE LEVEL REVIEW
