\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tNear 700 hours and just beat the game for the first time so I am FINALLY getting around to review Satisfactory. As one could guess by my playtime, to say I love the game would be a massive understatement. I don't think I've invested this much in to any other game that I have recorded hours for, or can think of. The simple reason - it's FUN. It's fun, engrossing, and endearing. The devs not only made a great game with a lot of character and polish, but it made it so addictively fun that for long stretches I couldn't put it down. I've been a player since early access, and like subnautica - it was one of those games that seemed well fleshed out and playable even before 1.0 released. The devs ensured a high level of quality at every stage, and each new update brought more building parts, more fun things to do, and more challenges to contend with. Coffee Stain - you've made a legendary game, and I am pleased it is receiving the praise it deserves. Bravo.
The gameplay is immersive and intuitive, making it a joy to explore the beautifully hand-crafted alien world and build one's masterpieces and monstrosities with the same glee one gets from playing with LEGO. Story and combat are there, but don't define the game and stay mostly out of your way if you don't want to bother with them. There's no time limit, few guardrails and restrictions, and a heavy focus on player freedom. I love how you can freely construct and deconstruct without loss of resources or penalties, so there's no barrier to trying random things to see if they work, or just doing whatever silly things come to mind. Want to build a floating castle in the sky? Cover an entire biome with concrete? A giant brutalist skyscraper that looks out of a dystopian film? Go for it - the world is yours to cover in your creations. Then you can traverse the landcape using the dozen or so methods of conveyance, all of which are fun in their own way.
There's no right or wrong way to achieving the goals of the game, including not bothering with the goals at all. I actually stayed in the mid-game for hundreds of hours just because I felt like it. You could build one enormous mega factory, or many small ones all through out the map. You could have machines randomly splayed on the landscape or enclose them in nice and neat structures. You can be a paragon of efficiency, with every process thought out and calculated for maximum efficiency, or simply build as much as you can and make a glut of factory products in the hope it will be enough for the later tiers. The game definitely rewards you for thinking ahead and building more capacity than you need, as the later tier demands get exponentially more complex and need ridiculous numbers of parts along the production chain. You can complete a phase or a tier, pleased with yourself for your accomplishment, then have your eyes pop out when you realize what the next tier wants.
I could go on for days about everything I love this game for, but it's better to encourage you to try and see for yourself. It's a load of fun.

And so when I joined by BF's steam library and saw that he had this game, i got it and clocked like like 100 hours in the first week.
I enjoy the interface and how everything you build comes together. I haven't encountered any major glitched during gameplay, but there are some minor bugs that I find add to the charm EXCEPT for a major one where sometimes my keybind and video changes revert to default when I load the game, though thats been the only major issue. I also think the graphics are really pretty while not completely overheating my PC.
I love learning more about the different ways to design my process lines, though I did quit my first world and start a new one earlier on in the game because I didn't feel like taring everything down once I saw that my current set up wasn't up to my standards, and I had to start from scratch.

Play your first session for a while and get an idea of what kinds of resources you will need and how things will upgrade over time. Once you are more comfortable don't feel bad about starting again on different worlds, or just moving your existing hub to a better location. The worlds are not randomly generated and so the placement of resources should always be in the same spots, although the resources themselves have become randomised.

First day playing, but almost 5 hours into it and I'm hooked! Super fun, reminds me of Tekkit/FTB modded Minecraft, but obviously in its own unique way. This is an absolutly lovely game to play alone or with friends, there is a lot of improvements to be done and not a certain way you have to play the game. Every invention you make requires calculations of recources you found but also how much you want to make. It has a lot of nice features and runs smoothly. Every factory you build will "sadly" be upgraded/re-done after unlocking the next stage at the HUB/Space-elevator.

If you have ever looked at a bowl of spaghetti and thought, "I want to build that, but on a planetary scale," then Satisfactory is your new religion.
Let me be brutally honest: this game is not just a factory builder; it is a simulator of absolute obsession. You start with a simple goal—mine some iron, craft some plates. Within 48 hours, you are standing on a skybridge, staring at a chaotic, beautiful web of hundreds of conveyor belts spiraling around each other like a caffeinated spider’s nest, desperately trying to figure out why your Heavy Modular Frame production line has ground to a halt.
The "Spaghetti" is Real
I have never seen a game so perfectly capture the struggle of "I will organize this later." Spoiler alert: you never organize it later. You just keep building over the old mess. My factory looks like a plate of sentient pasta, and I love every single twisted belt of it.
My Sleep Schedule is Ruined
This game has a secret feature: it deletes time. You will sit down to "just fix the coal generators" at 8 PM, and suddenly the sun is coming up, and you've somehow rebuilt an entire power grid. The phrase "one more conveyor belt" is a dangerous lie I tell myself every single night. My sleep schedule didn't just break; it was systematically disassembled and fed into a resource sink.
The Electric Nightmare
Speaking of power, nothing prepares you for the panic of the grid going down. You spend hours building a massive coal plant, only to realize you don't have enough water extractors. Then you fix that, and realize you don't have enough coal. You fix that, and the whole thing trips because your power consumption spiked by 0.5%. The frantic rush to jump-start the grid while running on backup biomass burners is the most stressful and rewarding experience in gaming.
Fueled by Coffee
If my Pioneer could have a blood test, it would come back as 90% coffee and 10% pure FICSIT determination. This game requires a beverage on your desk. Building a 12-story factory requires serious caffeine. I am convinced the developers put that "Coffee Cup" item in the game just so you could roleplay your own IRL caffeine consumption.
Verdict: 10/10
Is it perfect? No. Sometimes the terrain clipping makes me angry. Sometimes I realize I built everything 2 meters off the grid and have to rebuild it all. But Satisfactory is a masterpiece of logistics. It makes you feel like a genius when your factory works, and a total fool when it doesn't. It is addictive, stressful, beautiful, and utterly satisfying (pun intended).
If you value free time and a normal sleep schedule, stay away.
If you want to build the most ridiculous, sprawling, energy-sucking machine while drinking your 1,000,000th cup of coffee, buy it now.

I am currently as far as I've ever been in the game mid/late phase 8, playing on a multiplayer server. I play on a non-gaming laptop so I have to play on the lowest settings. Despite that the game is still playable and enjoyable (with a few stutters every now and again), even if stuff occasionally looks like a kiddy toy. It does bother me that It can get pretty dark at night and you're unable to do anything about it on low settings.
The gameplay is good, factory set ups and calculations aren't handed to you on a silver platter. The controls play really well and the movement techs are awesome to use. The alternative recipes system can be a bit tiring to unlock with the vast number of hard-drives across the map (although that's what friends are for). The strong suits of Satisfactory over a lot of it's competitors are it's aesthetics and verticality, the game has a very strong building system, although it can be inconvenient to make what you want a lot of the time due to the limited blueprint sizes and clunkyness of "curved" foundations.
- The progression of difficulty feels great and plays well.
- Multiplayer won't cheapen your experience
- Vehicles (Tractors, Trucks and Trains) function really well with little issues.
The game is absolutely worth the price. You WILL get your moneys worth! I recommend playing this is you like automation games. I look forward to continuing my playthrough and finishing the final stretch of the game.

- Unable to place sloped rails on edge of Blueprint Machine
- Blueprints can randomly change blueprint category to undefined
- Give the player the opportunity to toggle the game to always day.
- Allow Factory Carts to use universal paths
- Allow drones to deliver to multiple ports
- Better support for "curved" walls and foundations
- More map & blueprint icons (current selection are way too limited)
- Allow the use of map icons for blueprints
- Allow the use of multiple icons for one blueprint (like Shapez 2)
- Keybind for entering blueprints menu
- Allow access earlier for Mk2 and Mk3 blueprint machines
- Decorative items other than storage boxes and storage racking
- Add SOMETHING to the south western tip of the map
- Improve the look of light objects on the lowest settings
