I spent about 10 minutes on the first level trying to water plants and then eventually left it as my last task to do because I could not for the LIFE of me figure out I needed to fill the watering can first, especially when there's droplet particles already falling out when you try to use it. The lack of written explanation for this and cleaning of cobwebs only being unlocked via spell is unfortunately bad game design. Another problem I've run into is struggling with readability of text... a zoom feature would be much appreciated. I'm honestly shocked it wasn't included in the game in the first place. I hope with future updates these issues are resolved because I would love to see this game succeed! In a world of ai slop (especially in this genre) we need more games made by real artists. I love the art and designs in this game so much, and it feels so much more satisfying to sort unique items instead of the generic assets I see in many games like this.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

So before anything else - it seems to be pretty much AI free - unless I missed something, which is already a great start. At no point did I go "Oh wait, is that AI?" and I do come from an art background and am definitely not the worst at spotting AI.
Gameplay and mechanics;
Mechanics are very easy to pick up. There is not much besides just picking up items, and finding the right place for them. Though there are diagrams inside the different rooms (there are 3 different levels at the moment but more coming in the future!) you can also unlock abilities to help find the items easier, have them come to you, have the correct shelf highlighted - very similar feel to Librarian Tidy Up if you've played that.
Levels and Design
So there are 3 different rooms, that each unlock after you finish the previous one. The first room is sorting tarot cards, which has the minor and major arcana - I did spot a review from someone else mentioning that the major arcana was not in the right order but I also saw that the devs had responded and fixed that issue by the time I even downloaded the game - essentially - small things that need improvement but the devs are on it - and as well, at time of writing, it's not even been out for 72 hours yet.
Level 2 was wands, which essentially amped up the category types - I noticed that though colour is one of the ways to differentiate between items, all items did have their own unique symbols, which I guess would make it colour-blind friendly - but at the same time, I am not colour blind myself, so I can guess.
Level 3 was potions, much bigger room (if you can even call it a room, it was a massive multi-floor space), and again had a great time sorting and tidying.
Each level also had their chests that needed keys hidden in the levels to unlock that would help unlock new abilities. You were also able to unlock new abilities by finishing areas/shelves and get skill points, and then use those skill points to level up - again quite similar concept to Librarian!
Design wise - I think it's great! Of course it's not your Cyberpunk 2077 or GTA 6, but in the world of tidying and sorting games - this is for sure a step up and it does not feel like I am playing 'cheap junk' if I were to say it in a very harsh way - the items and graphics actually have colour variations and textures to them, not just a plain colour that you see just a bit too much in new games nowadays.
Any other notes
The game has just been released, but for just being out, it's in a great place! One thing to note is that the UI was in the wrong location, but I am also playing on an ultrawide monitor (3440x1440) so that complicated things a bit more, but at no point was I missing out on essential information because of this issue. Did I finish the game in one evening/ Yes absolutely, but it absolutely sucked me into my "brain off, relax time" mode late at night and I didn't turn off my PC until like 5 in the morning, and the 2 hours of sleep only was worth it. I can't wait to see more levels come out!
Overall, I would give this game a solid 8.5/10 right away - Good graphics, smooth gameplay, easy to jump right into it, and I felt so nice and relaxed throughout the whole game.

The vibes are immaculate, the character design is charming, the variety in items is stunning and on top of all of that - it's human made!!!!! \n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tWand & Order is another Cozy Cleaning and Organizing game. I'm in a bit of a kick for these recently. This is like the fourth one this month for me. The premise of the game is that you are a shop assistant for a magic shop, and your boss goes on vacation.
They leave a spell for you to use to help maintain the cleanliness of the shop. Unfortunately, it actually causes a tornado to wreak havoc upon the shop, messing up and dirtying all the floors of the shop.
There are three levels, though there are 6 floors in total, since level 2 has 2 floors and level 3 has 3 floors.
The first level is pretty easy, where you put away Tarot card sets and get a feel for the game.
The second level is a bit more complicated, with the hundreds of wands you have to pick up and organize.
And the last level adds another layer with putting reagents away, which is less complicated than the wands, but has way more to do.
When I first started to play, I thought the first level was the only level and was pleasantly surprised when I got to the wand level and was even more thrilled to have the reagent level.
If you like puzzle organizing games like Librarian or Shelves & Sorcery, you'll definitely be satisfied with this one as well. Just don't make the mistake I did and forget to assign all the points you earn to make sorting easier. I didn't realize I had additional spells until the third level! I did everything manually up to that point. Oops!\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tMaybe I'm bitter, but I think I hate this game.
So bog standard tidy up game, devolves into Auto-Gather/Auto-Place like all the others though there's a long period where you have to Auto-Gather and place manually, but that's not my problem.
My problem, is that whoever designed these maps is a sadist who made a No Skill achievement without taking into consideration how much that would just suck to do.
First Zone: All boxes, all the same size. They are at least different colours, though you can't see much of that when they're placed, and they each have a different face so you can easily tell which is which and in what order they go. Great, fine, only complaint is the images are all mostly based on tarot cards which while amusing at times (I will ALWAYS adore the image of the guy looking depressed with a wall of swords like he's annoyed with himself he bought so many) is sorta uninspired.
Second Zone: Two levels, 6 types, each split into 3 lots of eight subtypes. This is just mindless busywork now. Each box is the exact same just differentiated by colour and one of eight icons on the end of the box model. The problem here, is that there's 24 types of wands per six main types, and only eight symbols, so you HAVE to look at the wand's material type as well as the box symbol. Okay, so we're levelling up the complexity here? I can get with that. There's even a little puzzle where you get double jump and use it to also get a carry upgrade, I can dig it.
Third Zone: Throw out everything you just did. We're back to basics with now 20 different categories on three levels, each with eight to twelveish I think shelves each needing ten items unless it's potions then fifteen items. Now not only is this third zone big enough to be a game all on it's own, but it has different lighting depending on where you go, and that really messes with how things appear, especially the potions which now often look alike if they're dark enough, which is one entire half of the map with the Moon are having noticably different lighting.
The amount of times I got to like two potions left on a category and gave up looking for them because the floor was swamped with dark potions from like five categories and I didn't want to check them all was frankly annoying. There's now no complexity you have to remember, just put the matching sized containers on the shelves and remember the names of potions. That's it.
Is the theming on point? Yes. I feel like I'm immersed in this setting when I play. Are the abilities useful? Yes, they're the same ones you see in every tidy up game with the gameplay built to make sure they're useful. However the No Skill achievement is just brutal to accomplish, and honestly becomes boring. Even going back and using skills has you just sitting there for 20 seconds after a certain point (generally reached early in the second zone) while maxed out Auto-Gather and Sort spells do their cooldowns.
The ending of it all tries to be cute by having another disaster occur (something you can tell will happen after the opening one) and it's meant to be funny but I just got annoyed at watching all my effort get destroyed.
This was a great idea, and has great theming, but it's just a slog to play. Even spamming skills it's just not fun to play. Even if you want to Autogather one batch and put it in, and then use the highlighter skill to manually get the next batch, by the time you get like 2 of the manual ones the Auto-Gather is available again and human beings inevitably gravittate to the most efficient solution. Which is sitting my butt next to the shelves holding one item waiting for the autogathering ability to get off cooldown and wondering what I'm doing with my life.
Oh, and also the speedrunning achievement requires other players as the time it expects you to beat is considered by the community to be impossible to beat as a solo player due to the length of the skill cooldowns. So there's also that.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

The items are different which is awesome (supermarkets are getting old) and I appreciate the addition of needing a specific order, I miss that in a lot of them.
The levels increase in item number which is a nice ease in, and each focuses on a specific object. I just very much enjoy this game.
The devs are so kind and wonderful, responding to feedback and just seem like great people. With another map already mentioned on the title page!!

\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tThis game gives the same vibes of Librarian: Tidy up the Arcane Library, moreso than others in the same genre.
The relaxing music. The items to be sorted. I enjoyed doing a no magic run my first go around, and it was honestly easier than Librarian, and took me about half the time with the same amount, if not more, of objects.
There are three areas to clean: a tarot gallery, a wand shop, and a potion/tin area. All three are counted towards your total time, so if you spent 45 minutes on the tarot sorting, your time continues on to the wand shop, and the tin/potion area when you get there as well.
This game has a few extra components to it, ones that make it unique. There are cleaning objectives as well as sorting. Cobwebs, mud stains, watering plants, and dirty paintings. You have to do those as well in order to finish each of the three areas.
I did notice that this game really liked to put objects in places you wouldn't normally look. There were some on the outside of the bannisters, for example. On my 'no magic' run, there was a tin hiding underneath some curtains that I couldn't find for ten minutes.
Also each area adds another floor to the building, so you go from one room to three in the final tin shop.
It's pretty easy to figure out where everything goes, so I did enjoy that. And there are different amounts of objects throughout the 3 areas.
Your skills level up as you go, so you get more carry capacity in the wand shop, and even more in the tin area.
I have played the first two areas in a magic run, and I am not wholly excited about how the magic system works. The "bring me all of the same object" spell is fine, but the auto-shelve feature could use an improvement. Not only is it locked behind fully leveling the shelf highlighting spell, you also have to be directly facing the proper shelf of where an item goes before you can auto shelve it. So you can't just pick up 15 objects and send them on their way for ease of access. I get that it's probably meant to make sure we're actually sorting and enjoying the game, but everyone has different playstyles, and I would prefer a game that doesn't TELL me how I'm allowed to play.
Then my final issue is the achievement system. I'm fine with a 'no magic; run. At this point, I expect it with sorting games since Librarian had that. However, there is an achievement of 'finishing in under 3 hours' which as I mentioned, includes all three areas in your time. This is not possible without multiplayer, and I do not appreciate a game forcing me to play with other people when I want to play a sorting game on my own.
All in all I would give this game a 4/5 star. I really enjoyed my 'no magic' run, it was as cathartic and relaxing as the Librarian game. But the magic system and the achievements could use some tweaking.

It's hard to say exactly where things fall short to me because it's visually quite nice, it's a good concept, but there's something missing to give it a bit of character.
There's also a bit lacking in the discovery phase of gameplay where you're trying to learn how things are meant to be done. Tarot card boxes are simple enough, but the next level has wand boxes that are nearly identical to the point where you have to look at the box, then the box's name in the hud, then the label over the shelves, then remind yourself of the order the game wants. By the third level, no sense in learning how to put things on the shelves, just use power-ups.
While many have said they had no issues, I ran into quite a few with all relating to the power ups. There's a double-jump ability that is supposed to jump higher by holding the jump button down (and this is important for a different power up) but mine simply didn't work, ever. I found videos of people jumping quite high, but not me. Short tap of the button, holding the button, both did the same thing no matter what. The other power ups worked most of the time, but every so often they simply wouldn't work at all.
There's a phrase a game developer used in the mid-2000s: The best graphics in the world don't work when you don't back it up with gameplay. Sadly for me, while the visuals were nice to look at, I found myself pushing hard to just get this game finished and behind me.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

The game has an interesting concept and I get it's made with no-AI, but it's still rough around the edges. I'm sure there's hot fixes coming and honestly, I'd wait for those, because it's frustrating to have the game work fine, save and exit, and then when restarting the game, have things break, or need to reset your settings, or suddenly you can't use objects (looking at you, broom) or pick things up. It has the most soothing ambiance and hits the right balance of having a good number of things to organize without being a nightmarish, overwhelming jumble. The art is lovely and I enjoy the slight puzzle of first figuring out where things go before settling into the soothing pattern of putting things away. Adding in the tidying tasks of cleaning up the shop and watering the plants is a nice touch as well. This game really just hits that sweet spot for my brain that is soothing and gets me in the zone.
