I do not understand why you would only allow a maximum of 8gb of ram to be used. Especially on extremely large maps like the North America map. Took me a bit to figure out most of the tools, but I am very impressed and excited for what's to come in the future. A tutorial is definitely needed, although I was able to figure out many of the tools myself. For now it's a great sandbox tool for map lovers and city lovers who don't care much for the city-manager kind of gameplay of cities skylines.<br>Running this on my laptop was surprisingly smooth, and viewing the city in 3D doesn't hurt performance that bad as long as I am zoomed out. <br>Maybe I haven't found it yet, but more guidelines and tools for symmetry would be useful.<br>Overall looking Definetely needs some polishing but the game works quite well for the early state its in. The tools are intuitive and easy to use tough sometimes a bit rough around the edges. Its easy to draw an entire city in an hour and you can also get lost it detail.<br>Editing the real world is also fun, tough the map data size is sinful at 100GB, but thats not the devs fault. I can roam around in my city and make big ol changes and destroy all the highways... However the map is insanely big (180GB) since it's all of north america and in the most recent update my game can't even handle visualizing or rendering the small area that I want to modify...<br><br>Lovely idea. I'm going to keep my eye on what happens to it because this is a great concept. I can only encourage people to fund the early access. There are bugs and optimisations issues, like the game crashing only on the tutorial for me (?), loading saves taking a long amount of time, and forests creating performance issues. I hope that the devs carry on and continue, because this builder possess an insane potential.
