This game looked like a tidy up relaxing game but actually its number one tag should be 'puzzle' or 'quest' While demo puzzles are laughably simple, the shop itself is overwhelming. Wandered there for 10 minutes without a slight idea where to start. The game is by all means very well made, like the graphics, atmosphere and the feel but, again, I came here not to brainstorm puzzles but to relax which is impossible from the get go. I recommend this game for ppl who like to solve puzzles in the first place, because this is a puzzle with tidy up theme.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

The puzzles are fun and interesting to solve, making it feel a little more like a point and click game than just a "clean up the floor" game. But it misses part of what makes these tidying games fun- the acceleration, the power fantasy of flinging around books/whatever faster and faster as you gain more power. I finished unlocking abilities when 5 of the sections were done... out of 13. With minute long cooldowns, and still having to squint real hard to match the patterns of the puzzles I'd already solved.
After finishing the 6th section, I looked at the remaining 7... and I don't want to finish. I dunno, this just doesn't drip the rewards quite right, imo, especially with the friction around the more abstract puzzles/orders. It's a legitimately clever idea, but becomes unfun.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

The "organize all the thingies" genre has absolutely exploded recently, and a lot of devs seem to have made the (in my opinion) wrong assumption that "more thingies" automatically means "better game". But there comes a point where there's so many thingies that organizing them all just becomes a slog rather than an enjoyable cozy experience. We need something more than that.
With THIS game, each shelf of potions has IT'S OWN LITTLE PUZZLE TO SOLVE! Like, instead of just saying "here's the red shelf; put the red potions on the red shelf; done", each shelf of red potions has an environmental puzzle that needs to be solved in order to determine the correct ORDER for the potions on the shelf. It's fantastic! It keeps the "organize the thingies" idea fresh, and the puzzles are all accessible enough that you don't need to be the president of MENSA to understand them.
PLUS THERE ARE KITTIES AND ONE OF THEM WAS NAMED AFTER *MY* KITTY (woooooooo Athena!)

I was so excited to see this game's staunch anti-AI stance, and the gameplay does not disappoint.
I highly recommend the demo if you're unsure if this game is for you. It runs you through the game's tutorial, which is adorable and intuitive, without any pesky HUD interruptions or overly explained mechanics. It's a perfect example of what is to come, which is...well...hours and hours of tidying. But it's not just shelving things wherever you think they might go. I really enjoyed that this game had small puzzles involved to make the mostly monotonous task of shelving bottles feel a little more like a mystery to be solved!

For the added chaos of it, I played initially with the game language in japanese, which I speak a little of, but am absolutely not fluent and my reading comprehension is garbage. Can confirm that the game is entirely playable and it is possible to figure out the puzzles with aproximately the reading skills of a 7 yr old, and the vocab of even younger.
I really wish however that the game stored your completion times somewhere (at the very least, I haven't been able to find it). I didn't take a screenshot of the completion pop-up with my initial time and I really regret it. Especially because there is only the one save file, and to start a new run you have to overwrite the previous one. As much as I enjoy a good cleaning game, I was a little concerned a Tidying/sorting game would become a slog. But the addition of the puzzles for assembling the order keeps it pretty engaging. Feels good to look at a shelf of bottles, wonder how they're meant to be lined up, and have an "a-HA!" moment when you discover the solution. (i'd also say they aren't too hard either, just the right amount of head scratching while you think on it)
Also, quick thanks for making the "No AI assets" clear, because it feels like so many of these "sort the doodads" games are being farted out of the slop machine. Appreciate the devs taking to time to make (or at least purchase premade assets) themselves.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

This game is similar to other Tidy Up games, where each potion has its own spot in the store but it adds small puzzles that will help you determine the order that the potions go in. I was able to finish one run in a little under 5 hours without powerups, so I would say that it isn't very difficult, but that doesn't mean it isn't good.
The puzzles aren't very hard either, maybe gathering the pieces to assemble the puzzle would take a while, but they were really cool to figure out and find all the pieces for. (there are also hints available if you are stuck finding a piece) The first section I finished took the longest because I had to gather all the solutions, but after that the game loop runs pretty meditatively if you just focus on shelving one color at a time. I appreciate the dev showing their process in creating the game and how there isn't any AI + having a lot of features already in the game that a lot of tidy up devs have to add afterwards (reset items, button remapping, etc.)
I will say that the game is really bright and saturated, which may be a problem for some people. I had to turn it down because it was a little overwhelming to look at. Some of the potion colors are also very close to one another (pink and red, white and beige) which may make the game a bit harder for those who are colorblind, but I was able to quickly spot when I had misplaced something.

\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tI would love for some ability to be able to sort inside your inventory to match solved puzzles. The end of the game is a little slow because of the above average cooldowns. They are fast but just barely not enough. Most of this is mitigated by having to reorder the potions (good thing) and or finding the last potion for the assemble spell by walking or using a combo of both spells, at which point you'll have just wanted to use the highlight. (Not as great). I would suggest adding a final level to each spell that makes the cooldown shorter, or alternatively maybe even upping that last assemble level to bring all potions of an 8 set to you. The only other way to make the endgame more "enjoyable" in my eyes is to greatly increase the number of puzzles so once you figure out a color set, the other 1500 potions don't feel so monotonous. I see though that this isn't really the best solution to offer. Do more work /s\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

The shop cats helped me figure out the last one :D. Cute game I nearly got all the achievements in my first run too.
