It is satisfying to clean the carpets and upgrade your tools, but a time limit really kills the chill vibe that games like these are supposed to have. The prestige system itself is not bad, it helps to make cleaning carpets more streamlined. Once you get near the endgame, you basically just use the same tool over and over to get money and points to finish the game. There are no achievements for the new game+ feature, so there really is no point to play it past the main game.
