The story though is flat, more specifically the way the story is written. This story begs to be written in first person. The MC's thoughts, feelings, motivations, etc.. are really needed to add texture and make the story go. Instead it's written in third person, and the MC is a flat, one dimensional, uninteresting card board cut out. No interest at all is generated in what the MC is doing or why. AI realism doesn't bother me, it's actually preferred to cartoonish computer graphics. This is what the future looks like and I for one am happy to encourage more projects like this. The developer should be proud of this release. Sure there are minor valid criticisms but the quick response to those has been encouraging. For instance, branching the story based on decisions would give reason to replay the story. Currently dialogue choices seem to cause little if any impact to progression. I also wanted to linger at some points where the story forces you to the next frame. Looping the animations would have been nice since they are way better than most games that use a 1-2 second GIF style animation. Overall good effort and well worth the price.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

Was this worth it? I'm sorry to say it really wasn't... They had me fooled with the trailer clips and images which admittedly made it look really amazing. Unfortunately however the actual game doesn't live up to the hype set by that trailer...
First off, this isn't really a story per say, it's more of a set of random encounters that this one chick goes through after suddenly deciding she wants to become a prostitute, because of course that's every girls dream right?🧐 The speed at which she makes this decision is a bit absurd after reading one book. No build up or previous inclinations were set up. After that the story just picks back up with her ever year or more and shows a short scene of her completing one of her escort jobs. No real continuity besides her and her "manager" and even then there are no real interactions. Just surface level stuff to get her to the scene.
They also had a phone mechanic where every now and again you would get a message pop up from your mom or one of your friends. This was the weirdest implementation of a phone I've ever seen in one of these games. The messages were always nonsense and didn't fit with the story at all. I highly suspect AI wrote the messages. Your friend would message about finding your bookmark and you'd say "Thanks I would've never fount it without you!" and the response doesn't come right away, you have to click out then go to the next frame then they'll respond. An added bit of inconvenience for no reason. Then you'll be talking to your mom on the phone and she'll hang up so you think she's mad then she'll text you talking about something completely different. Also the clients will text with you talking about how they value being on time or how changing plans requires notice and you respond with "I agree" or "Ill make sure to keep that in mind."... It's meaningless drivel. Could've been completely removed and the game would've been better for it.
I want to make it clear that if that was it and the actual scenes and animations were really good then I would overlook the lack of story and be completely fine with giving this a rec for anyone just wanting some good animations. Admittedly that's what I thought I was going to get when buying this. I already gathered from the reviews that the story prolly wasn't going to be great, but I didn't get a clear feel for whether the animations would be worth it or not. Now some of the animations are actually pretty good, they're all made with AI so a lot have that AI bugginess that we've come to expect, but there were some diamonds in the rough. Were these few good scenes amongst the middling masses good enough to justify spending $7 on? I wouldn't say so. If its on a deep sale maybe, but honestly I just think the dev needs to work on improving storytelling and refining animations a little more before releasing anymore content or maybe improving this one a bit more. I saw that he did add looping to the a lot of the animations which I am glad about, because if they just played once that would be pretty annoying. You can kinda tell that it was implemented after the fact because not all animations loop and the ones that do don't have a clean transition. But honestly that's not a big deal.
