the aesthetic. It's actually harder than I thought it would be, but in a good way. I never felt like I truly learned the layout of the cave even though I died many times. Being in the perspective of a bee makes the spiders much scarier than they normally are for me. easy to understand.<br>Luckily all the bees were saved :) &lt;3<br>I really like the sound design and the visuals. They play into the simple and jet scary big environment with its predators. Although in my opinion spiders should not be villainized that much. Tumblebee is a game akin to Rain World in that it's about survival + terrible awful things trying to eat you. The sound design is incredible and very intuitive, but the gameplay has a fatal flaw with the whole &quot;dying resets you back to 0 bees&quot; thing. Although it is a very short game, the horror was immediately lost on me the minute *frustration* set in from losing. purchase  as a  game.  The   way  this  game  plays  is very  challenging  and  unique. Simple  yes,  but with a tradeoff you play  as a bee hiding  from spiders trying  to  collect all  20 of  your smaller buddies  all  while  trying  not  to get caught . Should  you  get  caught  you start off  randomly.  The  catch  is you  don't  die  so playing  the game  is  straight  forward.  The  controls  are  solid  the game play  feels  very  rewarding  without punishment leading  to  a lighthearted  but  scary approach well  worth  the  time  spent.\t\t\t\t\t<div bugs and arachnids. <br>Something that i absolutely love about the games Agelvik makes is the sound design. It's so increadibly stimulating to me that i cannot help but gush over it so much. Seriously, it's amazing to listen to. <br>Aside from that it's a pretty simple game that plays into the horror aspect of big arachnids chasing you around. It's a fun and tense little challenge learning the cave layout and catching up on hints and landmarks you encounter while not being all too difficult.\t\t\t\t\t<div in this and I still bought it, and still freaked out lol.<br>The game is charming, and definitely very tense (for someone with arachnophobia)<br><br>And while I understand the game is meant to be a challenge, I will say it is annoying there isn't an option to save progress as you collect the 20 bees you need to escape. Getting caught fully resets you every time, which gets a bit annoying.<br>Also, I have to comment on it, but the settings menu is atrocious. It has no text anywhere and you basically have to guess what each setting does.<br><br>Overall decent game, horrible settings menu, and frustrating &quot;roguelike&quot; gameplay.<br>Hope they add a it has a lot of issues that make it just not fun to play. The main issue is that it has perma-death and the game gets repetitive real fast. After the first ~40 minutes I've already seen everything in this game and figured out all the mechanics.<br><br>I'd much rather play a game where tumbling is the main mechanic because I don't find the current gameplay of hiding in a bush particularly fun.<br><br>Also I don't usually talk about stuff that is not gameplay related but for this game I have to mention just how unscary it is. I get scared really easily in horror games, especially in horror games with insta-kills.
