The good: the intro music is great and the avatars are really cute. It can be fun to work together with randoms for a bit.
The gameplay is mid. The enemies have such tight patrol paths that you spend most of the match crouching in a corner waiting for them to move. In the hospital I watched my team hide for 40 minutes because we literally couldn't get to the pumpkins- they'd randomly spot us or walk into our room and turn around. Getting chased by three at once means you get hit, knocked down, hit again before you can even get up. It's more annoying than scary.
You can revive (R) but you can't heal, and you can't attack or stun anything. Classes would fix this. One that heals, one that can run while holding a pumpkin, one that can actually hit an enemy, one that can throw a distraction. Right now there's nothing to do except run and wait.
Bugs: constant disconnections when you revive someone or complete an action. My game froze and crashed loading the hell mission and I couldn't rejoin my lobby. If you get KO'd mid-jump or on stairs, nobody can revive you. So many times me or someone else would die and we didn't get the ability to revive them.
No text chat, no way to add or see the people you played with, no recently-played list. For a co-op game that's a big problem- you can find a great team and then never see them again, which happened to me after my game crashed in the loading screen and upon opening it again I couldn't re-join the lobby.

Some throw things at you, some smash their weapons into the ground, and some shoot at you. Some mobs also chase you and that they also have different types of attack, and I really like the whole idea of it.
There’s just one problem I have with the corn mobs: they just don’t stop chasing you, like, ever. 😂

I bought this game because I was looking at the new release queue and I thought it looked incredibly outlandish and stupid enough that it'd be a fun bit to stream on a Discord call for an hour.
At it's core, it's an okay game with an okay premise.
Do not go into this game expecting a masterpiece, it's far from it. There are many glaring issues with the game that are hard to ignore.
-Needs more objectives other than pumpkin gathering. The core concept is fine but I think having other things to do would spice the gameplay a little more, even if little.
-Enemy pathing feels very random and it's hard to really form a good stealth strategy around it, and sometimes the enemies just get stuck on geometry and start defying the lays of gravity
-Player character feels a bit clunky, especially with the jumping, tend to get stuck on random geometry when trying to sprint away from an enemy, and the jump feels particularly weak. Not to mention character is incredibly slow. (You're telling me that big buff guy can't at least jog and hold a pumpkin?)
-No real way to defend yourself from enemies. With the anime girls it makes a little more sense but I really would like to be able to defend myself from giant anthropomorphic corn on the cob and plague doctors with swords.
-The inability to pause in single player. This is a giant no-no.
-Immediate paid DLC on launch day is a bit sketchy, but I'll look past it as it's only cosmetic.
That being said, despite the simplicity of the game and the glaring issues, I think something like this has great potential to be something more. I was able to get some enjoyment out of the single player so I can only imagine that having a group of friends to play with makes it even more fun.

\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tI'll start off by saying I really like the concept of Yandere Virus. It reminds me a little bit of Home Sweet Home: Survive, just with less objectives. However, the only way to play currently is to have other friends that own the game or play single-player. It would be neat to have a search for lobby option!
Also, I have one question.. wtf is up with the corn monsters...

The game is pretty simple: Cute girls infected with the Yandere Virus who will attack you if you get too close (sounds like a normal Tuesday) that you have to cure and take back to safety.
The game comes with many difficulties, different maps, and many types of enemies and monsters. For me, most of the game looks unfinished, but a lot of the maps look great even if they're small.
(Overall) Would I recommend this game to you? - (Yes and No)

I really like how each yandere has their own attacks and learning which ones are melee and which ones are long-range makes it much more interesting when you encounter them since once you learn their attacks you start knowing how to react when you see them.The voice acting for each yandere is amazing as well!
Many other interesting things and ideas that can be stage-based like the mimic pumpkins or the snakes that hit you while trying to harvest.
Also love how every stage has a completely different map and there are so many different avatars to choose from.
The only thing I didn't really like was how many mobs there are besides the yandere and how difficult it can be to lose them. That last "Hell" stage is absolutely insane 😂 I managed to beat all the other stages but that one feels almost unbeatable since you have to rescue so many of them while being hunted by the whole world lol.
