I feel like there were some aspects that were lacking for me. One, it was very possible to miss the things you were supposed to get because your little mole just digs as much as he wants and there's no way to really control him, especially with all the bombs happening. It was INCREDIBLY frustrating missing the special loot almost every single time because you couldn't control him. This is also the same for the stars as well in the late game.
I also felt bored at some moments where progression didn't feel like it was going anywhere so it got a little monotonous. There was no explanation of what additional layers did until I tried it and had to figure it out myself.
All in all I did like the art style, I just think it has some faults compared to other mining based incremental games I've played.

Also the progression system is this weird grid slop that every mining indie game seems to have now. Makes you wonder if this is either a unity asset that was only modified to the bare minimum or something AI now generates for every one of these games. \n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tThe game's premise is neat, but the execution is very sloppy and rough. There are several things in here that simply are not explained. For example: an upgrade you can unlock is a "Fever" block, which gives you the "Fever" state for several seconds. What does that do? Don't know!
There was a good period of time where my gadgets and tools did *significantly* more damage than my drill, which is when I discovered that there is no penalty (other than wasting your IRL time) to simply standing somewhere and letting your gadgets do all the work. Aim your drill straight up and let your passives do all the work for you until your mining operation accidentally touches a high-level block and drains your fuel.
Because different block types have a fuel cost to drill them, in addition to their normal HP pool. So to reach the lower floors reliably, your drill will run low on fuel; aim up and wait for your gadgets to passively blow up enough blocks to find fuel blocks, then have your passives destroy those until you refill your fuel and can safely touch another block with your drill.
I don't understand what "Artifacts" do, because they list out things like "Drill effects and weapons do 25% more damage" but like, I don't know what any of that means because it didn't *feel* any different to me.

\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tGood length, not overstaying it's welcome. The upgrades are interresting, the numbers between damage, density, resources and upgrade cost balanced well into a smooth progression, where it doesn't feel like a pointless grind.
Very nice progress seesaw, giving the taste of more and more destructive power, then letting us make things more resilient in exchange for greater rewards. At any moment, we can return to earlier level to experience the how far we have come.
Way, way better way to handle it than the usual "prestige" system where our progress is reset. And more difficult to pull off, so kudos!
The only criticism is the requirements for the Mining Master achivement - I had to grind over and over after finishing the game and all upgrades just to reach it. A much better spot for it would be 200k blocks, so that it happens around the same time as other points of full completion. That way, the last thing people remember will be excitement from finishing a good game, not boredom of grinding a single achivement.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t
