But in this case it's more just combinations. I still find it interesting and fun but it does show how combo is used maybe a bit too much in way to many games.

There's a fair amount of meta progression, with lots of stuff to unlock. So the game feels fresh between runs. Especially due to a variety of combinations of guilds you can chose from, and different starting conditions depending on map generation.
My only complaint is that there's only one track for the entire game, outside of main menu. And even then it's a pretty short loop. I wouldn't call it highly repetitive per se, but it would've been nice to have at least several music tracks so it won't get annoying after playing for a while.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

I love the roguelite aspect and unlocking new features to grow and expand my experience to form new combos for even greater heights. This game deserves your attention. If you're a fan of city-builders, Roguelites, and games like Balatro that build wild combos ad infinitum, this is absolutely worth your time and money. At such a low price, its an absolute steal.
The graphics are simple, but effective. The music, although nothing to write home about is peaceful and enjoyable. I'm only six hours into the game, but I played the demo for approximately 70 hours.

It's got a nice presentation though and is fun to play and plop the buildings down. There are fun interactions between the different guilds. I think there are about 21 total combinations and they all have pretty different approaches to scaling scoring. It's fun making different little scoring machines.

It's very satisfying to get a good run going, and the endless mode is actually fun given how much of a delight it is to keep building out the map. \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tAs others have already stated, it almost feels like a clever hybrid of Island Tiles and Balatro in which you need to carefully balance both the raw score and multipliers earned each turn to achieve the current goal amount. I do need to acknowledge what is likely the game's cleverest mechanic which is the interplay of various factions. At the start of each run you pick 2 of your unlocked factions. Each faction has its own set of thematical tiles, like Agricultural being focused on crops or Commercial being focused on making money. The game is even clever enough to give each pairing it's own name, like combining the factions Commercial and Frontier renders you a Prospector. Also related to these factions is the end of game summary. Even if you don't win, you'll gain experience in your chosen factions. Gain enough experience in a given faction and you'll raise a level in that faction unlocking a new tile or heirloom for future runs with that faction.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t
