\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tI loved this. The voice acting is fantastic, the units adorable (although the seemingly pregnant slime is a little concerning, I guess), and the factory automation mechanics work very well. My only criticism is that the player's ability to succeed appears very dependent on the RNG. On anything above Hell 1 difficulty, I usually only am able to succeed when the stage has just the right things and I roll just the right upgrades that allow me to reach the end goal. This is either because I suck or the RNG hates me. Possibly both. Usually the failure point involves the game not giving me enough conveyor belts, or the map not generating the appropriate resources for me to produce valuable products and the debt-clearing rewards never providing the upgrades that allow me to a generate sufficient income.
Either way, I'm really enjoying this, and the difficulty modifiers, too. If you're a fan of A) Anime and B) Factory Automation games, this is definitely one to check out.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tAnother "thinky" genre turned roguelike. Imagine Factorio with a time limit and a VERY low stock of belts. When the training wheels are off and you enter hell difficulties, the due payments truly start to mount.
In this game you get your "level up and choose 1 of 3" after delivering a certain amount of valuables. Which ones, how you produce them and how you transport them are your constant questions and are already decided halfway by your starting lineup of sponsors. Each provide you with one type of "building" and correspond to one resource archetype. Will you branch out to many production types or will you reinforce your mining and logistics workforce?
The archetypes also decide the types of upgrades and shop offers you see during your run. Whether delivered goods cash in for money or not, they at least always sell for resources used in crafting or the shop.
While the game is still rough around the edges, the developers have frequently released competent balance updates which include new gameplay features that add meaningful choices about how you manage your current production lines.
There are currently known overpowered starting loadouts and level up choices, but they are voicing clear intention of getting the balance just right.
I personally feel like the game is presenting a promising challenge similar to against the storm once more gameplay mechanics make it in. I will continue to look over this early access period in anticipation.
The game runs fine on Steam Deck, but the difficulty ramps up so high that I definitely recommend using mouse and keyboard to survive the deadline.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t
