I enjoyed looking down at certain points throughout the game and being able to visually see how far I'd come. The premise is fun, and the game's length is nice for the price. The dev did an excellent job and I enjoyed the large structures and unique puzzles. I genuinely recommend this game, it's excellent and I enjoyed almost every second of it. Here's my big caveat:
The first 90% of the game was 10/10. Then I got to the pyramid and it became 7/10. It's no wonder that the speedrun videos I've seen find ways to skip the pyramid entirely. Like seriously, not only does it suck the joy out of the game but all the exploits that would've really helped were patched. So... here we are. I think the dev wanted there to be a final and brutal challenge and got really attached to the pyramid idea so much that they wouldn't compromise. That's my guess anyway. Play testing goes a long way as a dev, you can really see where people struggle the most. This may have benefited from that.
Anyway, I'm still proud of the dev for a successful launch of a great game based on a novel hook. I'm happy I played and finished it overall.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

I would love to see another game (or DLC) like this one but with more varied scenarios and a bit (and I mean a bit) less frustrating puzzles. Having to repeat a 1 minute section is perfectly fine, but beyond that, it gets frustrating really fast. Maybe introducing optional mid-level checkpoints (a-la Hollow Knight) would allow players to choose the level of challenge they want to tackle without removing it completely.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t
