Suggestions for improvement:
1. General: make the different peg types matter more by making the peg placement the main gameplay instead of the firing of the ball. The player could focus on placing / adjusting the pegs before each round. Instead of having a fixed number of pegs, you could enforce a minimum distance between pegs that can be lowered through upgrades. Ball launches may be automatic or there may be an automatic ball launcher for purchase.
2. If you want it to be more of a roguelike, have a losing condition. E.g., you could introduce a concept of round goals, by having to achieve a certain score in each round before all balls are used up or you lose the entire run. The needed score increases over time and outpaces how fast you can improve with skill tree purchases alone. Once you lose a run, the skill tree resets and you get the option to unlock permanent upgrades that shifts the odds for your next run in your favor.
3. If you instead are aiming for a idle/clicker type game, then there shouldn't be a death condition. Numbers should climb like they are here, but pricing of the skill tree should go up exponentially so that the player eventually gets priced out of progressing regularly. Getting the next skill would just take way too long and not add much income. That's where prestiging comes in, player can voluntarily reset the game in exchange for some different currency they can use to unlock permanent upgrades that will persist through prestiges and again shift the scales, making it easier to progress through the skill tree and get back to the same point, now with more skill flow.
As I said, the presentation is good. I'm sure there are some great ideas for pegs in there and that they can have fun interactions. It's just that I never saw most of them because I was focused on launching balls as fast as possible with the same strength every time, pausing only when there was still a ball in the launch path to avoid the new ball colliding and falling out of the game immediately. The random distribution of pegs and lack of a "game over" condition makes strategizing launches beyond that feel pointless, because there's always a next board where pegs may happen to be placed better.

The power mechanic feels underdeveloped (you really have to stay between 2 and 3 empty sections from the top to make the most of your plays). The hypemeter also feels like it could have used a little more to it. The game seems like it wants you to launch all your balls one after another and have multiple in the grid at the same time (there's even an upgrade to lower the delay between shots), but because all of the special pegs are on timers, there's no reason to have more than 1 ball in at a time. I tested that theory and was scoring literally 10x more when i went one at a time vs one immediately after another.
Unlocks come at a solid clip until the very end when it gets grindy, and then you unlock the final thing and there's no reason to enjoy it as you've unlocked everything and all achievements by that point. My review seems negative, but the core gameplay is fun and it was like $4. It is far too linear and lacking in upgrade diversity, most unlockable peg types are just "the same thing but it's bigger" while the abusrd cost scaling ruins whatever satisfying feelings you should have over the progress you made.
I really don't get why one of the selling points of this game is "combos" when they're rare. Power-ups hardly interact with one another, and most of whatever combos you do manage are a result of a peg's effects knocking the ball into another special peg, not because the peg's special effect activated another special peg. It's just disappointing.
