\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tHaven't gotten much playtime in it but I can already tell this is a keeper. Absolutely fantastic art, extremely interesting world, and wonderful gameplay. The devs should all be proud of themselves with this one. A+++. When I play a game and after playing for a few hours (I also played the demo for 2 hours!) and I already know I want more, I know its good. Seriously good work devs. Honestly the fact that they'll be releasing a free DLC soon too is insane, I'd pay for it. I hope they continue to add more to this game, more DLC (Paid this time!).
For anyone wanting more than just straight positives I should explain below:
The gameplay loop is fun and addicting, there are so many units and spells that even on my fourth run I was still finding tons of new things. Each playstyle is very distinct, but they're also able to be mixed very easily. Its fun to make different mixes of different faiths, but its also just as fun to stick with what you start with and go ham.
I read some complaints about the UI before I bought, but I'll be honest I didn't really notice it. I think there is a lot of descriptions to read, and since they give you access to so much content it could be overwhelming, but if you take your time and take it apart piece by piece its really easy to pick up.
The Artstyle is constantly what I love the most about this game, its all absolutely fantastic. Really honestly so great. The lore and story is so fun to read through, the world is fun to explore.
To balance out the positive if I could say one negative, the game can get overwhelming with the sound. The first time I did a mass cavalry charge the game's sound got blown out from the explosions. But, I also wouldn't want them to fully remove the "Louder" sounds, as it makes the game feel very weighty and satisfying in combat.
