\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tThe Sweet Spot is a perfeclty fine game. The hour of story content is fine. The jumpscares are pretty boring and don't stand out to me at all. The actual story is pretty boring and is a copy paste of any other game in this nature. Any issues I have with this game, I could leave behind if it wasn't for the lack of respect the game has for your time. For $8 and only an hour of "unique" gameplay, it's pretty insulting to your wallet as well.
But the REAL issues I have are the 2 bonus modes you unlock after completing the story. They are literally the exact same thing. Making orders until you either fail or until you're tired of doing the same thing over and over hundreds of times. Even THAT wouldn't bother me too much for an indie game, but if you want to 100% this game, you need to do ONE HOUR in BOTH modes. So 1 hour of story content, then DOUBLE that time just making orders. That's it.
My guess the devs made it this way so they could avoid people refunding the game after getting 100%, since steam does 2 hours. Either way, it's a CRAZY cheap way to pad the runtime of your game. It's not fun since you're just doing the same thing for 3 hours. The other issues I have aren't really worth mentioning, since they're related to the AI and only matter if you're doing the endless modes.

\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\ti kinda wish steam had a mid rating. i liked it, but it reminded me a little *too* much of the boba teashop by mike ten. from the character asking for your phone number, to the timed order events, the health inspector, and a couple of the scares like the eyes outside the window. one thing i DO like about this though is that there is 2 endless modes, which the boba teashop doesnt have,\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t
