The core gameplay promise is great, if you played any random hero defense game on WC3, this feels great. \n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tAfter playing it for 5 hours I can wholly recommend it to anyone who is familiar with the old WC3 TFT custom maps (hero line siege, enfos etc.). If you're not, give the demo a try, it will give you a good idea of what the game is about.
The developers communicate with their players and are open to suggestions, which is always a good sign.
They also just did a big update with steam matchmaking and crash fixes very quickly after EA launch.
Looking forward to what else they got cooking.

\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tIt has potential but as a game copying Dota2's stat system it has managed to somehow fumble it. Itemization is lacking. Int heroes feel bad or ultimately useless. Kill times are so fast that healers are worth much less than just another tank or damage dealer. The one hybrid character scales really weirdly, where it's best ability scales with dexterity and the rest of its abilities scale with strength or intelligence. Int heroes are comically squishy mixed with long cast times and low range often dying to random cleave damage or the odd ranged minion. The tower system feels bad, you activate towers temporarily and they gain experience if you kill enemies *very* close to them which means it's possible to screw up a wave by accidently killing it wrong AND if you lose position on the towers you were leveling up you now have to fight with worse towers until you can push the waves back. Enemy waves swing wildly from super boringly easy waves to nearly impossible at a whim. Not a fan of the map. Bosses are insanely tanky but only cost 5/100 health so it's usually just better to let them through instead of fight them. Pathing is wonky and melee characters tend to run into their demise when commanded to move, kiting as a ranged character feels clunky too. Minion waves would be better spawned as clumps and as a mix of ranged/melee/caster rather than mono/dual type in a long line. I had multiple instances of trying to cast abilities long after finishing another and having nothing happen. Gold seems to have a nebulous value and you always end up having way too much at the end of the game, might be worth it to let players spend gold to upgrade towers.
Overall a lot of things that can be tweaked to be better but for now kind of suck. It tries to copy dota2's stats and mix it with LoL's scaling, failing to do either well. I enjoy the teleport back and forth mechanic for buying, I think I'd like the item system better once I got to know it. I didn't expect to write as much when I started but every little thing brought to mind another little thing. \n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tGame is just not very fun. only a single map like 6 characters to choose from that their skills mostly do the same thing this one does fire damage on the ground that enemies walk through and take damage, this one does void but since both are just "damage" they may as well just do a damage on the ground in that spot since the only difference in damage types are magical and physical as there are no mechanic difference of flame, ice, nature ect.
There is no way to block players from playing with you. 4 games in i had 2 times where people just joined a game to leech xp and ruined the game for the other 2 people.

At times it feels a bit odd having 3 players on a map with 2 lanes, and I'm not the biggest fan of the way towers are implemented. But the enemy types are distinguishable instead of just being basic creeps that behave the same and only look different.
Any of my concerns could easily be solved with a creative selection of maps with different environments. Like a basic single lane map, a map with no towers, a map with jungle camps littered around to keep a 3rd player occupied while both lanes are covered, there's plenty of places to go from here, and I'm looking forward to what comes next.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

The UI is rough, hard to tell when your ability is active or ready. Can’t tell why I press something and it doesn’t cast, even though I have enough MP. Impact on enemies isn’t there.
The item system is reminiscent of LOL, which is great. I didn’t feel the impact from the items though. Game gives you too much gold. No jungling from what I can tell.
The turret system doesn’t feel good. You invest to spin them up and they cool down by despawning. You have to spend again to get them back up. Generating a temporary spend currency doesn’t feel rewarding, and the turrets don’t do much right now. Permanent turrets that you upgrade over time would be better.
