I get what the game was aiming for, and credit where it is due, there were a few genuinely funny moments. I do enjoy good parodies, and the medieval versions of popular songs were actually funny. But overall, almost all the positive reviews you see are just memes, and the game itself completely misses the mark. I finished the entire thing in under two hours.
The biggest issue is how hollow the whole project feels due to an overreliance on AI. It feels like the developers started with a real vision, saw generative AI blow up halfway through production, scrapped what they originally had, and leaned on prompts to slap the rest together. The marketing and developer replies are smothered in it, and there is an AI cinematic ending and sequel teaser that was genuinely rough to watch. Why cut corners right at the end?

Unfortunately I can not justify the game in it's current state. I didn't get far but here are my thoughts on the little bit I played.
- Combat is terrible. I love souls-likes so it's not that it's difficultly problem. The enemies are just damage sponges and your attacks never stun them. If it were one thing or the other, I wouldn't mind so much.
- The audio is not mixed well: The main character has quiet audio while others have very loud audio.
- Graphics settings didn't seem to do anything noticeable to my game; nor did changing my resolution.
I get it's a low budget indie and a meme game, but I just can't justify the combat at all. I didn't enjoy it, I don't think a lot of people will, and for 15 doll hairs before a discount... I'd rather throw my money at something else.

For a game that came out on Playstation before, would be nice to get a controller support on steam too (though the steam one is fine, just had to map some keyboard keys). Not being able to change your keybinds is really unacceptable. I don't play controller myself most of the time in souls games, but not even having that option also is not helping this games case. I've also noticed this weird issue where sometimes the game will start flashing and have to fully reboot the game to fix the graphics.
