Love the style, the card mechanic of communicating and interacting with the world, the garbled voices and all of the love put into this.... it really shows!! The story is sweet, and I think the length of the game is absolutely perfect. Any longer and I think the charm would have started to wear off. For me, the movement of the world and the character kind of gave me a headache, so the short run-time was absolutely perfect for me.

I didn't expect this to be a detective game, let alone one that has more faith in the player than many in the genre. This game gives you all the pieces and leaves it up to your intuition and information gathering skills to do the rest. No handholding, yet fully intuitive to play. Perfectly nails everything it is going for. I really don't want to spoil anything, which is why I'm just glazing it, but it's truly worth going in blind.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tI really enjoyed my time with this game even if I wish it was longer and the mystery took more effort because I liked playing as a mute detective that could only interrogate with cards. The lore was interesting and the art direction was really unique!

The controls were sadly extremely annoying on the Steam Deck. I did manage with some difficulty in traversing, but the speedrun achievement was impossible so I’ll need to use the mouse for it.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

I also liked the idea of communicating with cards that were found in the environment. I only wish the game was much longer. I'd love to play a longer storyline with the same look/feel, mystery, and subtle horror elements with the question cards included.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t
