\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tBully. A mildly controversial game that came out in 2006 by Rockstar. A cult classic that was supposed to get a sequel but never did. So many years later, somebody thought "Well I can't wait for a sequel, so what if I make a successor to Bully? That will work."
I'm going to say that this is basically Ride to Hell 2: Back to School because this game has so much wrong going on with it.
First, let's talk about the combat. The combat sucks. You have to hold down the Left Trigger to be in combat mode. There is (absolutely) NO Lock-On mechanic for the combat. Instead, in order to attack the person you want to attack, keep holding and releasing the Left Trigger until that individual comes close to you to attack them. You can fight multiple people at the same time. The combat feels like a combination of RTH and The Callisto Protocol if it had a baby. C.Protocol combat felt like the kind of combat where it's meant to be a 1 on 1 at a time. Now, Ride To Hell.... well, was just broken. So, imagine if you are focused on fighting one person but you get ganged up on others at the same time. Once you get a bat, it's (slightly) easier, but not much.
Next is the non-combat gameplay. The bike riding is pretty awful. If you go one direction, it sharply turns in that direction. This leads me to the sprinting/ boost on bike mechanic. Your stamina gauge my look like it doesn't last long, but lasts a loooong time. In fact, if you're hunting down those collectibles in the town or countryside, don't bother bringing your bike. Just as long as you have soda on you (which pauses the stamina depletion for 3 minutes) when you're low on stamina, you should be fine. However, there is a bug or glitch where when you sprint on foot, somehow the sprinting just stops and you will be walking. I failed a specific ending section of the game multiple times because of this. There is a weapon wheel, but I didn't even know about it until I went on a specific mission involving a camera. Throwing weapons are rarely used on my playthrough (I used rocks for one mission and after I beat the story, I ended up throwing stuff at cows and people) and the physics are that of throwing a wiffle ball. Classes range from simple to makes you really feel like you are in school. Math and English are easy, Music is a rhythm game using your guitar (I HATE RHYTHM GAMES!!!), German, in which I just used a translation on Google, and Geography.. Oh the Geography. It's identify a country. Problem is, I didn't even know a good chunk of the smaller countries. How would I know what the name of the country is or even heard of it? Stealth sections are so easy that even my cats can get passed them, their pathetic.
Now, the game is based on a lot of 90s and early 2000s teen/ raunchy comedies like American Pie, Old School, Not Another Teen Movie, etc. However, some of the dialogue and stuff that happens in this game fall flat on it's face. (or balls. HARHARHAR!) Now, if you're making a game like this, you want your imagination to come to life in this game. I feel that Beavis and Butthead should of been on the developer's minds as well since there should of been things to do like throwing stink bombs at people, flushing cherry bombs down the toilet, an actual spray paint mechanic where you can paint what you want, etc. The game is about a boy named Sam who moves to Agefield DURING THE LAST WEEKS OF SCHOOL! His mom enrolls him (AGAIN, LAST WEEKS OF SCHOOL! Why not just have Sam be done for the year?!) It's the (mostly) typical story you would see in those movies I mentioned earlier: Sam makes friends, tries to get the hot but not popular girl (who looks like Rogue from X-Men, but way more Wh*rish), school bully picks on Sam, sexy teachers, yatta yatta yatta. There are long pauses of shots of peoples faces not doing anything or just smiling. Doesn't anyone know when to cut the scene? There are a few odd out-of-nowhere horror scenes or themes like Satanism that I felt didn't belong in this game. Also, no flashlight is in this game. There's a mission involving a "Spooky" house and it's dark as sh*t in it.
Is this game "The Worst Game of 2026?" Yeah. Is it the worst modern game I have ever played? No. (Gollum still holds that position) Should you check it out? Only if the price is good, then sure (if you are desperate to play it). It's a short game, so don't expect much. Once you beat the game, all you have are side missions and collectables. Nothing else. This is simpler parody game, It's lazy, laggy, buggy and overall stupid, but it is also what gives that simpler 2000's vibe. I personally don't think a game requires more than goofy character, simple fighting mechanics and a scenerey to match the stroy, and this game has it all. It's janky. The physics sometimes are all over the place when riding a bike. Handling is a whole different story. Animations are not too polished. Characters are mostly okay, I mean there are the main characters who are mostly well thought-out and executed then the generic NPCs. You can basically finish the game in like 10 hours with all side missions and collectibles, it took me 20 because of work schedule and stuff.
But despite all of the flaws I can recommend it. The player base who'll like it is most definitely niche, since it's janky as hell. But for me it was loveable. I wasn't furious or angry because of the bugs. If anything I most laughed my ass off on them, as well as on the animations. It's a unique experience. Of course it wants to be a Bully-like game, but keep in mind that a small indie team wouldn't have as much of a background as a company like Rockstar.
It's that janky but loveable kinda game that grows to your heart if you can overlook the superficial things like generic assets and raw animations. All-in-all it was kind of a nostalgic experience for me because it brought back memories and the feeling from my childhood from school. It's most definitely worth a try, but might be worth if you wait for some discounts. 7,5/10

Nagyjából 10 óra alatt végig lehet játszani a fő- és mellékküldetéseket, begyűjtve az összes összegyűjthető mütyürt. Nekem 20 órába telt, de ez a munka és egyéb elfoglaltságok miatt.
De mindezek ellenére én tudom ajánlani. Azok akiknek tetszik ebben az állapotában is a játék nagyon kevesen vannak, főleg azok akik szeretik a low-effort/jank játékokat. De szerintem szerethető egy kis játék. Nem voltam ideges a bugok vagy egyéb hibák miatt, leghamarabb visítva röhögtem rajta meg az együgyű animációkon. Ez egy teljesen egyedi élmény, az biztos. The voice acting and graphics are terrible and the voice acting sounds so abysmal its like it was recorded by a bunch of incompetent unpaid interns rather than professional voice actors. When I first heard about this game I was pretty excited because I played Rockstar Games Bully and I loved it and I always desired a sequel like many other Rockstar Games fans but I was disappointed when I opened Agefield High. I wish I requested a refund when I had the chance but now it’s too late. But to have the game stutter at every second and being released in this state is ridiculous. I wanted to play this for my YT channel and give an honest opinion but I can't even do that when the recording is stuttering and pausing so much. It's not my computer because this is the ONLY game where I'm having this issue with. The facial expressions are all the same, the dialogue sometimes don't make any sense, there's scenes where the camera zooms on somebody's face and I'm expecting them to say something, literally anything. But they don't! They zoom in sooo much and it makes the whole experience awkward. People compare this to Bully, which isn't fair because this is not a big company like Rockstar. But even for a indie game made from a small team, I can't recommend this at all. This game had potential but feel like the developers got lazy the more I got further in the game.
