A smaller, simplified version of Total War Warhammer with a classic roguelite board instead of the global strategy part, even most factions and units are clearly based off it. For a single dev it's a good accomplishment, special props for making source code public on github to share with other aspiring devs.
As for feedback and suggestions - it lacks diversity and uniqueness in units and factions that could be seen in TWW. Factions have their special effects and mechanics but all units feel generally identical compared between factions: elven archers and human riflemen both shoot the same way over any units, a dragon is functionally the same as a giant, just has different stats. It is missing unique things like firearms not shooting over their own infantry, blunderbusses, trolls regenerating, flyers actually flying over units and so on.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

For a dev like this, it's decently made and feels honest. Someone got an idea for the game concept and went with it. I definitely think the game has potential, but the perpetual sales alone speak to my complaints about the cost to quality factor. This game can go places, but I think a smaller up-front fee for early adopters would sell more people on the game when they see other playing it.
Why do I think it's overpriced?
The battles: Unit control is rough, and units struggle massively when overlapping unlike TW where you can blob/mesh your troops more chaotically for a benefit. Siege units are genuinely broken if you stack them as you'll rape enemies with 100% accurate shot placement with no respect for terrain blockages (and beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of garrisons you can funnel through gate chokes), but kinda suck on their own compared to (especially TW:Warhammer given this is a fantasy RTS game) TW arty. The random field building bonus placement features are easy to abuse (usually placed in your deployment zone) when you like them and easier to avoid when they help your enemies. Unit rarity isn't balanced, ♥♥♥♥ units just suck, even prestige'd, while purple/golds do insane work. You're better off with one purple at the start than 6 whites or 3 greens by a mile, especially if you can prestige with consumables. I consistently do better when I just conscript and heal high tier units (easy as hell to do) and cycle them from the recovery zone to the battlefield. Speaking of, I find it's easier to just autoresolve my way through most of the early game. I won a Baron game in 15 minutes because I only fought the last couple battles and ran them on 2x speed mostly. If I spend most of my time not using the battle mechanic to actually fight because it doesn't benefit me to do so, in a game trying to follow the TW formula, you have a problem. Fighting battles should be an incentive for good player, not a tedium.
The map: Probably the least-concerning part. I'm cool with the formula here, my only gripe is that card shops seem to come back to back constantly, same for taverns. These two serve almost no benefit outside of the consumables, but when I'm getting consumables after every battle then they're even more of a pain, cause I could have just fought a battle and gotten a free consumable. I would suggest altering the acts to allow you to pick from 2-3 of the factions as main enemies and removing the more broad range of castles within each act. I can understand maybe one or two random enclaves of other factions popping up, but why am I getting sakura dynasty, gruntkin, and deephold garrisons as the only garrisons on a dino map?
The resources: Money and interest feel insanely unbalanced to the point that you know the card shops were balanced around anticipating interest abuse but everything else comes out to be cheap as ♥♥♥♥ like random recruits in towns. The renown upgrades feel lazy, where there are obvious must-haves that allow you to actually play with all of your equipment slots or guarantee loot that makes higher diffs playable. Interest needs to get nuked and card shop prices need to come down. Punish me more for ransoming captives instead of recruiting from alt factions so I can moneymax

1. Losing a battle through morale break means the campaign is over, even if you have like 50% of your troops left. Completely kills the pace and any last ditch effort to keep going. Having units wiped or 90% killed troops would be much more believable.
2. No hero units, I honestly think just the morale aspect of a Hero unit could make some victory conditions more clear and enjoyable, they don't need to be in every battle, maybe like the final battle act has a hero unit and you have your leader/hero unit.
3.. A bit simple in events and terrain, Raiding towns isn't to interesting. The cost reward is pretty bad, and most events the dice rolls can be fun but the result or situation you find yourself isn't to interesting.
4. Animations and textures, they pop in and out... a lot, tree shadows, LOD, the tavern looks awesome, but the units and board themselves could use a bit more settings work to fix that weird constant shadow and terrain object popping in and out and more animation for fun.
5. Music, it's fine, but the loop needs work, and we need a touch more variations on some songs for the factions...
These are all super minor, and all in all, the game itself is very nice and the totally feels fun.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tI was shown this game by a family member. With less then an hour in this game I can say for sure its worth the money I put in. To put it to brass tacks, this is a roguelike tabletop warfare sim. Being forced to manage my units as a ragtag band of mercs is a delight. Battle feels weighty both up close watching the individual units duke it out, and above deciding how to deploy and direct the army. Game runs very well. Every unit I have seen has character and the stat weights feel good.

There's still the fun manual control part or the auto-resolve if you want to speed run it. The designs are cute and simplistic. I think the only thing I find a little weird is just whenever units break they run entirely but they don't die if they do that so honestly not bad! Overall it seems like the Developer truly cares about the game with how much content is already in the game and in my 11 hours of playtime I have already done 20+ runs! That said, I would love a seeded mode so I could see people make very funny things if they know every outcome, especially cursed seeds and weird dilemmas.
I would also like more customization and perhaps a horde mode of sorts where you can start with a fully kitted army and items etc and go through fight after fight no recovery or something along those lines.
I don't mind randomness but I would love to see what you cook up if you knew a player was going in close to max power just as a different mode or alternate play style or something.
Only critique is performance drops to single digit frames on 3rd round of maps on high end computer.
