mechanic and strategy in this game, the difference of choosing to wait for that extra 0.2 lap worth of fuel or risking running out if I dont lift and coast to gain positions in the pits is very rewarding. Very high potential, i would like an update that include qualifying for career races so it's not just reverse grids, variable time and weather would be awesome for the endurance racing, tyre arcade racer.<br><br>There's a fun and diverse lineup of cars and series, both real and &quot;knock off&quot;. The gameplay itself is quite fun. It does get somewhat repetitive after you've unlocked all the cars and completed all the series, but I think there is enough to keep coming back. <br><br>The racing itself is quite fun as well, though the opponent AI can be pretty hit or miss. They tend to race as if you aren't there and the slipstream is very powerful. You could be lapping a second quicker than the car behind you, but the slipstream will keep them right on your tail. This makes higher difficulties more frustrating than fun. I personally preferred setting to an easier difficulty like Master and trying to see how fast of a lap I could get with whatever upgrades I had equipped and whatever slipstream I could get from the cars I was lapping. The handling is very arcadey. No throttle control and most circuits only require a tap of the brakes at a single turn or two. The curbs are very killer. It is super easy to get up on a curb the wrong way and spin, though I did like that as it might it a lot riskier to go quick.<br><br>The track selection is fine. There are some tracks that I quite like and others that I am indifferent to. I wish there were more IMSA tracks like Laguna Seca or Road America, since there are two dedicated IMSA series. Perhaps even some larger tracks like Le Mans or the Nurburgring, though I do feel like the latter would be very difficult to get right in a smaller format.<br><br>There's some decent character and livery customization and the &quot;campus builder&quot; was a fun progression mechanic. I did not try the online racing, so I cannot speak on that,<br><br>I think this game is worth it's price. I would've liked to see just a few more cars and tracks, though I think the selection for this price point is quite good. Really not a bad game. game. It scratches the itch of wanting a more serious racing game without being a sim racer that you have to spend hundreds of hours to be good at. Iracing Arcade is something inbetween an arcade racer with sim racing elements sprinckled in. Your car his &quot;health&quot; which determines your max speed. There is also gas and tire wear with tire wear determining how well your car handles and grips the track. The game does have a few frustrating points though. With the car's &quot;health&quot; tied to your max speed, if the start of the race is chaotic, which some tracks are always, you can get crippled if you are in the middle of it. Also the AI can be very aggressive, not in a good racing way. They will force you off of the track, which if done at a bad part of the map, can make you take a two second speed penalty. This is not always the case though.  The base building is a cool idea but it feels like a half baked idea. Could never load into a multiplayer race and it gave no reason for why it was happening even though I could load into the lobby just fine. There was game breaking glitch that happened on the last lap of a race where my whole screen just went blue for no reason. Game is fun but don't want to get into it if these things have already happened in the first hour of playtime.
