Half the existing game modes and the content and challenges associated with those game modes are entirely gone. No more strike zone. No more Rush. No more King of The Hill. No more Squad Deathmatch or the other small infantry modes. It's all gone.
You paid for it 10 months ago, but it's gone. If I had known, I would've never purchased and just played the FREE TO PLAY GAUNTLET MODES until I got sick of it and then uninstalled and you would not have made a penny off of me. Instead, I happily purchased to play my all time favorite mode, Rush, and now that is gone entirely for "matchmaking health". We had 0 issues finding lobbies for these smaller modes, so I suppose their idea of matchmaking health only applies to Conquest. Oh no, conquest is doing poorly, lets remove ALL THE OTHER CONTENT so they have no choice but to play Conquest. Next thing we know, they'll start removing maps and weapons from the game saying certain maps were removed for matchmaking health as some were not as popular or removing guns because they found that players quit lobbies where they repeatedly died to certain weapons. GTFOH.
TLDR The reason you BOUGHT this game instead of playing the FREE TO PLAY REDSEC/Gauntlet was to play the limited multiplayer content. If you play conquest, fine. But now all that remains is Conquest, Breakthrough, Escalation which is like an off-shoot of Conquest where the map progressively gets smaller, and TDM. If you are a Rush or small infantry modes enjoyer, you just got ripped off.

Still completely unacceptable to just rip the modes like that and now they are supposedly going to be in time based rotations only? Bahahaha. GG. Rush has been a core staple of the Battlefield experience for years, yet it feels like it was intentionally set up to fail. By constantly disincentivizing the mode, pushing it into hidden menus, or neglecting its playlist support, player numbers naturally dropped. Using that declining player count as a justification to cut the mode entirely is a self-fulfilling prophecy and a lazy design choice.
To make matters worse, we are still waiting on the promised Server Browser. In previous titles, dedicated communities could easily host and fill 24/7 Rush servers regardless of official playlist rotations. Instead, we were forced to rely on an official matchmaking system that has been an utter disaster since launch due to poor implementation: The constant joining and leaving of bots, the games where one team somehow has 3 players less all through the game and a new player that joins somehow joins the team that already has an numerical advantage.

I think the spacing of the map makes it so you are prone to understand things in an easier way since the game gives you more time and space to process what's happening around you.
Aesthetically the new map looks amazing and I haven't played anything outside of quickplay Tsuru Reef for the past 2-3 days.

The update to make gunplay and TTK "better" made the gunplay very inconsistent in most close range gunfights. Dice still refuses to nerf the damage of most weapons to help with the TTK issue. For some reason they thought adding limb multipliers and increasing the base damage of all primary automatic weapons would magically fix this easy to solve problem. No surprise it made the experience feel worse and did not solve the TTK issue.
2) The class system in this game is also a point of countless irritation. The main perpetrators are the Support and Assault class. The Support has both health and ammo resupply in the same gadget. Making it the one man army class that has to pull the weight of the whole team. The Assault is useless, it has no purpose roll out of every class. Assault doesn't help out the team at all. Every class can do what the Assault can do and has no special roll to play in the grand scheme of things. A simple fix would be to move the medical gadgets over to Assault to make them the dedicated medics like how they were in previous games. This would make Support more in line with previous titles of providing ammo and supporting gadgets like trophy systems and deployable cover. While Assault would now be able to keep the team healed up and alive. Dice still has yet to make these simple changes to the class system for the betterment of the game.
3) Grenade indicators not being very visible. Grenades being a small red circle is not very noticeable when you are frantically trying to return fire on enemies. Even if you are able to see a grenade at your feet you are unable to throw the grenade away like the past 2 games. Dice has commented on this but their answer is not very assuring on if they will add the feature back.
4) Reticles not being customizable like in previous games is a let down. Reticles are to big and hard to see on different maps making only select 1x red dot sights the go to. Currently you can only customize the color, but nothing else. In the past we were able to change the size, color, and brightness of every optic. Dice has given a statement regarding more options to customize, but haven't given us anything concrete about when we can expect these changes.
5) Visibility is still an issue even after all the changes Dice has made. Even if you can pick out a standard looking enemy using the default skins, you wont see the guy wearing the all black uniform who is conveniently standing in a dark area and promptly kills you. A good change to this would be to add red chemical lights onto the player models would be the best option. They did this in 2042 and soldier visibility was no longer an issue.
6) Sniper rifles in general is very easy to use and ruins dampens the gameplay. Not having flinch when shot or suppression to reduce their accuracy, makes going up against them an actual pain in the ass. Dice gave them sweet spots for some god forsaken reason and gave them high muzzle velocities. Not to mention little to no bullet drop and an attachment that damn near removes the scope glint, making it a chore to deal with them. The range finder is also is an issue of which it can automatically zero your rifle to the exact range of where you are looking at. Practically removes having to manually set the zero of the rifle, which dumbs down the satisfaction of sniping in the first place.
On top of other issues like vehicle balance, audio and still no jet loadouts makes this game infuriating to play longer than 2-3 hours. They ask for feedback and they refuse to act on it. I cannot say that this is EA's fault for the complete lack of care for the quality of the game. This is Dice's fault...Period.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

It does not capture the true feeling of battlefield where it was still Arcady but still grounded. Battlefield 6 feels like a mix of COD and Battlefield while simultaneously achieving neither of what made those two franchises fun. It has the movement of COD, which Imo does not fit battlefield, and the guns are either stupidly broken laser beams or outright unusable. It has the vehicles but lacks the destruction that Battlefield was known for. The developers need to pick a side. Is this supposed to be like COD or Battlefield? It can be fun, but this game has a long way to go. I would not buy this game at full price. They are planning to make Battlefield a yearly release, and even though Dice says they will continue to support this game for years, I do not trust this because they cut off support for previous titles like Battlefront.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tI can't stand EA anymore. This game could have been great, now it's a long grind across slow drip fed content where you are forced to play against the sweatiest, least likeable vermin on the planet. You can't locally host a game with bots anymore, the portal is a fundamentally flawed function of the game, the menu is absurdly inefficient, the campaign is mid, and the game feels repetitive after a couple hours. This game is hardly enjoyable anymore. Whoever is calling the shots here should never be allowed to manage anything for as long as they live. What a completely avoidable, inexcusable flop.
