I checked out Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy on the Steam Deck and the Steam Machine and was pleasantly surprised.
On the Steam Deck, you have chapters 1-2 (I haven't played any more yet). With a medium preset and upscaling, I get a stable 30 fps, and with a low preset and upscaling, around 40-50 fps. :) If you also want to use frame generation, you can have a nice 60-70 fps game. :) So far, I'm really surprised and can recommend it right now. :)

-> Typical for the series, the graphics are very good. Not much else to say about it. Just take a look.
-> The performance is surprisingly good. At nearly max settings in 4k the game runs almost as smoothly as it could. High fps & very few notices of tearing or stuttering.
-> The Combat system is fun, just as the other gameplay - latter is similar to the previous games so far.
-> Deserves to be mentioned explicitly: The cloths soak water. What I mean: If you just walk into the water knee-deep and get out, your cloths will only be wet upto the knee. (May not be that new of a technique but it never jumped my eye like that).
-> Only critique so far are regarding audio:
1. The voices of Sophia and Leni are a bit too indifferentiable.

The combat itself leaves a bit to be desired, though it is fun; exploration is somewhat tedious due to its linear nature, nothing different from the first two games, but it’s a playable spin-off. \n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tWow so first off let me preface this with the fact that I've only played a little bit of the very first game and I never got to play the second game so I'm not super familiar with the world or the story or the war so I'm going into this game with a normie perspective and just focusing on what this game is delivering.
So let's get started first off what a great game so far. I'll update this review as I get farther into the game but so far I'm really enjoying the characters. The graphics are fantastic, the facial animations and performances are so lifelike I had to catch myself staring at them thinking how realistic they looked even during normal gameplay outside of cutscenes. The art direction is phenomenal so is the lighting and the levels everything just looks so good. Also so is the music. Some of the vocal themes are just beautiful and then the atmospheric music really adds a lot.
The battle system is a little basic but I'm sure it'll get better once I unlock more moves. I really like the exploration and the puzzles are great. Not too hard not too easy.
Overall I can highly recommend this game. I will update this review as I get through the game.

The mood, the vibes, the environments all take you back to the first 2 games, even animations and NPC movements feel the same, though so far the atmosphere is not as dark and gloomy as the first two games.
What I personally enjoy so far is the combat, much more fast paced, with parries, dodges, quick attacks stuns and more. It feels more rewarding especially on high difficulty levels. You wield a short sword and a dagger a very welcomed change compared to just the slingshot. You evem have jump attacks in some scenarios.

I was impressed with how well it ran given my PC is slowly beginning to die... Music was also fantastic as well. Combat was pretty great; I only got annoyed because I'm ass at parrying correctly. Overall, an awesome game for $50. Was sad it ended but all good things must come to and end I suppose. Well done to the amazing dev team and everyone else who worked on it.
