I will say that this game is definitely challenging but gets overhyped in terms of difficulty. It still wasn't too bad on expert, however i can see people getting stuck on this game
That said, there is much less cooldown within fights and that increases the actual pace of the battle. What that means is that expert mode feels more so like an actual duel compared to that of regular. I give high praise for that. Everything from the visuals to the audio (which are great mind you) I found to be the same in previous difficulties.
I prefer the base game over the DLC personally but that is NOT in ANY WAY to discredit the DLC by any means, only to show how well crafted the base game as a whole is. If you are thinking of getting the DLC I would advise you to get it, however don't sweat if you can't.

I won’t go on too long about the gameplay (10 hours for the main story plus the DLC), but I do want to say a few words about the incredible graphics and the beautiful music in this game. I’m a 28-year-old gamer who grew up watching my parents’ cartoons, so this game is special because it reminds me of my childhood with Woody Woodpecker, Popeye, and Disney in general—which is why I absolutely love this game!\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

I've was not expecting to have to go into the Slime boss 15 separate times. I love this game though and as long as your willing to not give up you pick up on it fast.
