\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\ti was here day one when the game launched it was fun at the beginning and loads and loads of ppl were on not barley 6000 but i haven't played in a LONG time, almost 2 yrs to be exact. but today i was bored and decided to try this again. in that time i wasn't playing i forgot how to play upon coming back i was bombarded with all sorts of notifications, emails, items i never before and some other store junk stuff. i was overwhelmed. some random in-game suggested i start over but buy the character boost pack i said ok made a new character and ALMOST bought the boost thing but saw it was $50!!! wtf would i spend that much for a stupid little boost when ppl are saying near end game is lame. that's the thing with free games they suck you in by saying it's free then hit you with ALL THESE in game purchases. game is not worth it go spend your money some where else.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

I am happy to say you can play the game for completely free and enjoy the game at your own pace and unlock everything someone who would pay to accelerate with. Now you can gain the currency passively by playing to purchase gear on the markets, or spend money to do the same thing. Which is good for people who dont have time to play. But if you have time, you can progress just as equally as everyone else and have fun with friends.

Between the extreme water-drip of progression, the community-driven gatekeeping to access content or even public world boss groups, the continuous poor decisions made by Devs who don't play their own game, and the insanity of the community-driven market... There are dozens more reasons as to why the game is not designed towards returning/new players without explicitly breaking out your wallet or having friends boost you at their own cost to progression.
Even with the newest patch released in Korea, the time necessary to progress a single Heroic Calanthia weapon to Vegamore is projected to be 4 months at a MINIMUM for a SINGLE weapon. The game espouses the brilliance of "playing your own way," utilizing whatever weapon combination feels best to you. Until you actually begin playing and realize that you're really stuck leveling one or two weapon combos simply for the sheer lack of resources, mats, currencies, and the time necessary to TRY anything else. With the new system upgrade coming for Heroic weapons, expect to be even farther behind the curve. AAAAAnd all that is before including the regular exclusion you'll experience from utilizing weapon combos outside the public's perception of "good."
Really like GreatSword? Good, you'll realistically learn that you should be playing some combination of Wand+X in order to be allowed into a group, even if you're well above the power limit for the activity. Do you really like how Spear works? Great, you'll also find that it's only really acceptable to use it with 2 other weapons, because if you use it with anything other than that specific combination, you'll never be allowed in any group other than one composed of your friends or begrudging clanmates who really wish you'd use something else because it's affecting their drop rates. Not that you can afford to at this rate...

It doesn't respect your time, or your effort. They practically took the watermark system of WoW, Destiny, and New World, crammed them into a singular shoddy system that rewards you at 1/10 the rate, and then incentivizes you to fork out your wallet to "catch up," only for the most efficient weapon ability or skill core to be nerfed the next major patch, really causing you to wonder why you enjoy hurting yourself every week you log in.
Just don't do it. It's a hot girl with 0 personality. You'll slowly learn to resent them and yourself for trying. Save yourself the pain. Go back to WoW, at least it's the monster you already are familiar with in wasting your time and self-respect.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t
