Of course, it is not auto pilot, but the management is VERY fun. VERY addictive. If you are having trouble surviving your first winter then go look at a youtube tutorial. once you get it, you get. and its great. if you want a challenge you can ramp it up too. play as cozy or brutal as you desire. I think the strategy you're supposed to discover is that you should only make one building at a time... even though it's tempting to queue up a number of plans.
What kills me is that your villagers will do things inexplicably, like just stop building, then just walk around in circles until they freeze to death. There's nothing that makes it clear why they've stopped, and nothing you can do to force them to be sensible. Just kind of dumb opaque logic.
I think eventually once you figure out this logic, it could be a fun game, but what a PITA to get there\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t
\n\n\t\t\t\tI think the strategy you're supposed to discover is that you should only make one building at a time... even though it's tempting to queue up a number of plans.
What kills me is that your villagers will do things inexplicably, like just stop building, then just walk around in circles until they freeze to death. There's nothing that makes it clear why they've stopped, and nothing you can do to force them to be sensible. Just kind of dumb opaque logic.
