Balatro was honestly just a random little game I stumbled across on social media... but I have to say, it's actually a really nice game to play when you only have a bit of time to spare. Gameplay
At its core, Balatro is a small roguelike deck-building card game where your goal is pretty simple: score enough points to beat the pot and keep going. Sounds easy, right? Well... it isn't.The better your poker hand, the more points you get. You have 4 hands and 3 discards to reach your pot, so you'd better make those cards count. (at the start)
And that's where things get fun. Throughout each run, you build and adjust your deck to focus on certain hands, suits, or synergies. Suddenly, that innocent little Pair you've just played is worth an absurd amount of points because you've somehow stacked a dozen different bonuses on top of it.

And honestly, that's awesome. I can definitely recommend Balatro to anyone who's into roguelikes, deck-building, or card games. I don't know that I've found a game this addictive in a long time. It's easy to pick up, it's hard to master, but it's so easy to let go of and come back to later if you only have a few moments at a time to play something during your day. Como um amante casual de Poker e um jogador do qual carrego comigo o estilo Roguelike como favorito, esse game é tudo que eu sempre quis sem nem saber que era possível.
A parte triste da existência desse jogo é que estou me sentindo como um viciado, nunca mais julgarei pessoas que apostam em tigrinho, pois, depois de Balatro entendi bem como é a situação de você não pensar em nada além de poder jogar mais um pouco.

Pois, mesmo que o Game inteiro seja baseado no clássico jogo de aposta original, em momento nenhum ele é um game honesto e que joga dentro das regras, muito pelo contrário, o game te incentiva a "roubar" com coringas que dão vantagens, cartas manipuladas ou "aprimoradas", cartas de 'planetas' que aumentam a quantia de fichas recebidas por apostas e até cartas de Tarô que concluem ações específicas.
