I finally bought it and honestly coming to the PC after been on consoles since PS2, I can tell you that there is absolutely not a single truck game that give's you the expirience that ETS2 does! Not at all I've played ( On The Road, Truck Driver ) The only trucking game that was descent was the "Alaskan Road Trucker's", And to be fair that still is far beyond of ETS2 in every single possible way! I'm not exaggerating at all, I've tried every single truck game and i just cannot describe how peaceful is to finally have my own PC and specifically to be able to play ETS2 on the best possible graphics with mods! Even my stepson that was never into trucks is playing ETS2, i can tell you how vicious this game makes you on a positive way! And SCS earned it i played the 18 wheels of steel, back in the days with my father, I absolutely reccomend it to anyone how want's to sit back relax, play online, have fun, best simulator ever.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

My only issue is that I've never been to Europe which is probably why I'm severely struggling with the road rules lol. But I do love the narrow roads compared to "ATS (American Truck Simulator)" it feels more challenging to navigate into steep roads compared to an "open highway".
Had a few drive sessions with this and I'm still finding the "grip" or the feel to the roads or highways. Regardless, I'll still buy all the map DLCs for sure in the near future in which I'm also excited with the incoming "coaches DLC"

But in my case, I just copied my "ATS Layout" to my "ETS 2 Layout" which saves me time as to manual remapping of the buttons.

The game gets updated regularly, but sadly those new features mostly benefit the arcade side of the game. Train Sim World did a far better job mostly in terms of graphics and changed from railworks engine to Unreal engine 4.
Features to simulate real driving parameters, freight and freight security, specific loading procedures for each freight and different regulations and forms for specific freights don't get presented at all in this game. For comparison, Train Sim World offers a few "Expert Locomotives" which come very close to having all features of the real locomotive. TSW is a good example of a new game which deserves being called a Simulator.
