While I really like this game, I can't recommend it until the crashing issues are addressed, and there's been no updates in 6 months so it doesn't seem they're quickly trying for fixes. It would be better to address stability before creating more content/DLC to release. The ability to play what already exists is more important.

After that, probably due to unlocking a certain amount of content/difficulty that makes more enemies and new effects appear, I get crashes on every map, with every character. The Avalanche/Ice damage effects seem to always lead to crashes faster. I am only safe from crashes if I stick to early game content and difficulties.

\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tI love this game! I bought it in a bundle, and when I saw it I just knew... hum, the Diablo aesthetic I love, and Vampire Survivors gameplay, which I also love. Match made in heaven! Pardon, in Hell! The game has many heroes we can play as, and we can mix and match gear to make optimal builds. It's a bit boring that we can only take with us one item at a time to permanently unlock it, but it's doable. There's a very big difference between the heroes, and I like that. We can experiment and see which is best for which dungeon. Also, I unlocked a hard mode I haven't explore yet. I'm motivated. So this game came in a bundle because what I wanted was another game, but now I prefer this one.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

Gameplay is just tedious and uninspiring. The "quest" system is a semi-interesting graph, but really, it's functionnally just a bullet list of acheivement type goals. The meta progression is as plain and boring as possible, with a flat list of the basic stats, and 4 level of upgrade to each with escaliating cost in a single currency (gold). Game design wise, except for the survivor aspect, it feels like this game was conceived 20 years ago. The graphics look 30 years old. And Gautlet, 40 years ago, had better controls.

UPDATE: There's like a 50/50 chance my game will crash near the end of a run. Not fun spending 30 minutes just for the game to crash and I miss out on any progress. Other users are having the same problem. Seems like it's been a problem since a recent update?

The gameplay is good but it has 2 major downsides.
Nr. 1: It is ridiculously easy. Like you take basically whatever build you like - character, equipment, abilities and just beat every map without much problems on agony v. And that makes it sooo boring.
Nr. 2: It has way too little depth. Sure, it has 500 challenges and like 50 of them are very very hard but the majority is just either 'do a on map x' for every map and character or 'deal dmg this way 10.000 times, then 20.000 times, then 50.000 times, ...' and that once again... is just boring.
I would have loved to play this game more but already my last 10 hrs where just 'get to a point where i am happy leaving this game. I won't make 100% and I have basically already done everything else in this game. Get some pages done 100% and a good percentage of challenges done and then I can happily quit.'.
