But man, not to be that guy, the AI is so obvious in this game that it really ruins the experience. AI voices, ai cutscenes, it's not even subtle. The UI and overall gameplay need some polish as well. For 13$ I thought I'd take the plunge but the more I played the more obvious it seemed that it needs more polish. From the trailers the gameplay looked pretty fun unfortunately I support people not robots. There is an AI disclosure in the description, but the ai generated scenes and animations are so clunky and horrible that you could tell there was almost zero effort put into the game because the "short video sequences" are 2 minute long cutscenes. And most of the cutscenes in the game are in 240p!

I liked the art style when I first saw this game and became interested but it was an immediate turn off once I saw the ai generated cutscene at the beginning. Even the combat looked wonky with the animations.

The game caught my attention from the first time I saw it, especially the art style and dark atmosphere. It has its own identity and I really like what the team is trying to build here.
I know this is Early Access, so I'm not expecting a finished game. There is still a lot of room for improvement, especially with combat responsiveness, movement, UI and overall performance. Sometimes the controls don't feel as smooth or precise as I would like, and there are still some bugs and rough edges.
But honestly, the potential is there.
The art direction is probably my favorite part of the game. I also like the combat ideas and I'm interested to see where the story goes once the remaining episodes and ending are added.
I just hope the developers don't rush the game. Take your time, polish what is already here and listen to the community.

Combat revolves heavily around parrying—there's a slight learning curve, but once the timing clicks, reading enemy patterns and countering feels super punchy and satisfying. Since it's still in Early Access, there's definitely some rough edges around the UI, controls, and overall QoL that could use more polish. Combat is soulslike with soulslike elements like beacons to rest, interesting talent trees, enhancements and consumables. Will update once I play more.
