The premise is simple: you and your friends land on the moon and have to collect scrap to sell before the night comes. With scary creatures and all kinds of environmental hazards ready to kill you.
Over 300 hours in this game and it's still FUN, and the countless mods that people made make this even more replayable. I am looking forward to every update to get together with friends and see the new creatures.
This is also the only game that brought back my old high school friend group to get together and play, which is amazing.
I LOVE the creature design, they all look so cool and unique, each behaves differently, and there is nothing more fun and tense than seeing a new creature/enviromental hazard with your friends for the first time, trying to figure out what it does.
The in-game voice is fun, whether from the local VoIP or the walkie-talkie; this game just did it right.
The way it combines comedy with genuine scares is just something incredible. One moment you are laughing with friends, the next moment you are alone in a dark factory with creepy ambience and monsters lurking around.
You do need friends to play with, personally, I am not a fan of public lobbies, and while solo runs are possible, it's more of a challenge and not something that was intended for the game.
Also, if you end up dying early, you will be stuck spectating for a long time, but at least you get to witness funny moments from your friends, so it's not all that bad.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

- Each creature has it's own mechanic, which makes encounters interesting and fun.
- The items are fun to use and add a lot to the gameplay.
- Intriguing lore.
- Great art style, I appreciate the existence of the pixel resolution setting, I'm a fan of pixel filters.
Sadly, there are a lot of negatives to list, here are the problems:
Negatives:
- The dev appears to refuse hiring new people to help speed up the development process. Which wouldn't be a problem, if he wants to be a solo dev, so be it, however, currently the game barely gets updates, just 1 or 2 per YEAR, and they barely add anything significant.
- There is absolutely no cheater protection in this game, playing public lobbies is just not viable, there will likely be someone with a debug mod doing harmful things to the game, most of them will use the debug mod to hide from the player list, being effectively impossible to be kicked. Unless you have a group of friends to play with, it is just not a good idea to play on public lobbies, not even host your own.
- Because of the lack of updates, the player count is extremely low, so on top of the cheater problem on public lobbies, you will also have to decide between kicking a problematic player and no one joining your server for several minutes, or to play with said problematic players and endure racist slurs being thrown here and there due to lack of anyone better.
Lethal Company is, again, one of the best co-op games ever made, but unfortunately it is effectively dead. If you have a friend group to play with, play it, it's great. If not, don't even bother playing, you won't have a good time on public lobbies. I hope at least one of the negatives gets solved.

Lethal Company is one of the most fun co-op games I've played. The concept is simple, but the combination of exploration, danger, and complete chaos makes every session memorable.
