Took me ~150hrs to finally beat the game and 100% it, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with it. The difficulty of it doesn't feel punishing with the length of the runs and there is a high variety of combinations that feel really fun to experiment around with from a gameplay perspective. There's a very good balance in this game between seeing something different every run and not being overwhelmed in options after each combat/event.
The gameplay itself with the order of turns and positioning adds a level of depth to the game that's approachable. The UI is clean and communicates enemy intend well, something that other deckbuilder games that implement "battlefields" often struggle with.

SPOILERS, I guess? The game doesn't really hide this from you at all, but you should go in blind if you want: Your teams become the boss! Each time you beat the game, your team will become the next boss fight. As such, you have to build really weak teams as you scale into the higher difficulties. This also means that your team building warps entirely around your own team building. It's a very cool mechanic, enhancing the replayability of Wildfrost 10-fold. The Difficulty Curve
Unlike most rogue-lites and deck builders, you get to select which challening elements you want to add to your run as you pursue the true ending. This small burst of choice paired with the aforementioned spoiler gives the player so much flexibility. And, yes, 100%ing the game is quite hard. It takes a lot of forethought and thinking, but that's what makes Wildfrost awesome--skill expression. Final Thoughts
It's a fun game, mashing together some familiar mechanics and a bunch of unique ones. Customization in difficulty and team building (plus mod support, which I haven't even touched), makes it a true banger.All the best,
