Vampire Survivors isn’t really a game I “would finish” in the traditional sense. It’s more something I keep coming back to in bursts, and it slowly just eats time in the best way.
It’s simple, addictive, and very easy to lose yourself in. Runs always turn into “just one more go” moments, and before you know it, hours have gone past.

I think I'm getting close to wrapping this fun little game up with a nice bow and BOOM. All of a sudden the game opens up, (much like your Mom) be it a new level, a new character, some kind of secret, a rune to go get, new modes, challenges, etc.
Once I figured out how to make builds that would give Goku a challenge, I thought I was about to be done with it and all of a sudden I am confronted with even MORE content that was hidden away deeper than Ray J was in Kim.
I have a lot more I can say but I wanna get back into it and not just have a glaze review. Kudos to the dev(s) for putting so much into this game for a cost lower than the IQ of an average Somalian. I look forward to your other games, and while card deck style games aren't really my thing, I'm heavily encouraged to check out Vampire Crawlers next. Especially since it's the same items and characters presented in a whole new way.

The progression, both in quality and quantity is absolutely insane, especially for the extremely cheap price of the game. The lore and style of the game is also very endearing and iconic once you have played it for a while, The crossovers with other games are also extremely fun and done very well. They give the games respect and match mechanics, while also converting them to this type of game so well. The developers have great love for this game and it shows.
I've probably not even unlocked 1/3rd of the things in the game after 50 hours, and that is with me specifically going for unlocks. There so many characters, items and levels in this game that for ~$10, which often even goes on sale for less, you can't complain about this game at all. It's crazy.
