\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tI started this expecting a basic vampire survival game. In truth, it is a vampire real estate simulator with over 60 unique bosses. You spend your time dodging the sun, hunting specific blood types, and farming materials to expand your base.
The castle design system is excellent. It gives you full control to build a massive gothic mansion. The different vampire abilities you unlock from bosses will feel lore friendly
Then there is the drip. Man, the drip. Even the early tier 2 armor is impeccablly tasteful to the point u will feel like ur the count himself..

Rng of gotta catch them all is satisfied. Multitude of server settings to let you play your way. Overall extremely enjoyed. Please, for the love of all that is unholy- let people play the game alone. I shouldn't have to worry about lagging and getting hit from invisible enemies or rubberbanding when playing solo.
Also, filling out a form and accepting terms and conditions Every. Single. Time. you boot up the game is some seriously bad design. Most single-dev indie games can remember your settings and don't make you read the terms and conditions on every single bootup. Get a single dev on your team to turn off their internet and try to boot this game up to play- and have them customise the settings then relaunch.

The top-down combat with bosses is cool and fluid, the best part of the game.
Being a vampire is also cool. It is fun searching for your perfect human with the right blood type, hunting poor workers, hiding in the shadows during the day and disguising yourself as a human.
My main problems are the gear progression, linearity and little replayability.
With gear, you always feel like you're barely keeping your head above water. I grinded for hours refining materials just to improve my gear score by 1-2 points and suck a little bit less. I never had a moment where I was like "hell yea, I crafted this cool ass weapon, now I'm going to destroy everyone".
You never really commit to any build (tank, melee, ranged, mage). You are everything all at once. Therefore there is no motivation to replay the game with a different strategy, hunt achievements (you will get them all just by completing the game), or even expect anything different.
