\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tUnfortunately I had to request a refund for this game. It ran so poorly that I could not complete the jumping puzzles required to get the items and blueprints needed to progress the game.
I like the concept a lot, though how vague much of the backstory is is unfortunate. How am I supposed to get into the game and sympathize with the characters? Any information at all on the origin of the zombie apocalypse? How did the technology for the machine come to be?
Regardless, this sort of game is right up my alley. I love surival crafters, and scavenging supplies to build a base on top of a giant moving machine is pretty rad.
The main problem, other than poor performance, is that while in many ways this game displays a lot of time and effort to make something really cool, there just seems to be a lot of laziness on display as well? Most of the game seems to be written by AI, if not all of it. The voices are all AI, and if they aren't, they have done a very poor job at voice acting.
I can see myself really liking and enjoying this game, but despite the fact it has fully released out into 1.0, it still feels like it needs time in the oven to cook. It feels unfinished, unpolished. There is potential here, and I would love to come back and experience it some time.
But for now, I am going to leave it be and hope that a little bit more is put into this game to get it into a more playable state.

Unfortunately I don't think you understood my review. The game is 100% my cup of tea! I would love to play it, even with what seems to be rather wooden voice acting and stilted dialogue. I couldn't, because it did not run well, at all. Hopefully you guys can optimize the game a bit, and help it to run better, so that I can come back and make it to the Alpine Biome! The characterization also feels very shallow, almost like this was made and written for children. If that was the objective, mission accomplished, the voice acting is done decently.
The biggest issue in this game is that when you use the artillery, it acts like hitscan (click and then damage) however it looks and feels like projectile (the "bullet" model has to collide with enemy model in order to deal damage) and the dissonance ruins a bunch of the combat. Combat is very basic and there seems to only be a handful of enemy types all of which are zombies. Exploration is limited to a large corridor of land, which as the vehicle progresses you lose access to what's behind you. The world has very limited interactivity with only a few vases, resource nodes, and switches you can use. Also not having access to the map except on the vehicle is a bit annoying, even though you can setup a few way points to aid you.
I would have liked to have seen a more robust character progression system with levels and more equipment to use, but maybe that's something to be added in a sequel. Also a character creator with a few choices of faces and bodies would have gone a long way in endearing me to my player character. I would recommend this game on sale if you have a few friends to play with, but playing is solo is fun for a time. As for the games performance it ran fine for me with only occasional drops in the framerate.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

Very charming, there's a good amount of content for the price, and the game runs great; I've seen some reviews that say it runs poorly, but since none of those have specs attached I'm going to assume they're playing on a potato as I have not had that experience. It's worth it's asking sale price, especially with a few friends to bring along for an adventure.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t
