Going into more detail, this is not a management sim. The game is not about building the restaurant of your dreams and improving it with the profits. It's about trying to keep up with the constantly increasing demand until you eventually fail. I like to have at least some meta-progression in my games, here you can at best start with some extra benefits but you'll still fail eventually. Maybe workshop mods could change this, I didn't check since we just played with normal settings.
That said, with friends the serving part is fun. Even though the cooking is always just a variation on pressing use button until the food is ready. There's plenty of cooperation needed to make it through the later days. You can even automate some of your kitchen if you're lucky enough to get the required upgrades.

This is more enjoyable in multiplayer, and still fun solo. It is an excellent team building and communications game, never assume your peers see what you see, so you better speak up. The messy floors, trying to get through doorways and picking items up is probably the most consistently challenging aspects of the game. I also played overcooked 2. It is more eye candy, and the biggest challekge are that the stages are dynamic, there are no visible customers, you don't configure the layout of the kitchen and all stages are timed, Some of the boards are fun and I wouldn't mind spending more time on certain stages, but unfortunately they're timed. It is not as challenging as PlateUp! I rate PlateUp! 10/10. You will not regret this purchase.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

It is like an upgrade from Overcooked 1/2, where teamwork and recipes comes into places with different unique levels and standards to meet but Plateup is a whole new level. I don't even get bored as there is too many recipes, unique challenge cards and scalability that challenge me and my friends. This game really allows you to be strategic and to automate your processes to make your life slightly easier. I guess reaching OT Day 20 is really a huge challenge with a lot of foreseeing and succumbing to its perks and downfalls. I REALLY RECOMMEND THIS GAME

Biggest issue I have currently, at least while having a coffee table is that while I have 4 tables for customers to eat at, they will only eat at like 2 of them so I will fail a level because they will not come inside even though I have ample room.
