If you've played the popular game "Overcooked" and thought "I wish the kitchens weren't so wacky, unrealistic, and unreliable, so we could actually maintain a system within the team", then this game is for you. Players can actually assume meaningful roles within the kitchen/dining room if they want, and it works well.

A fun little management cooking game that's perfect for a few “relaxing” rounds with your friends. Gameplay
Essentially, you play as a chef who takes customers' orders and then prepares their meals in the kitchen, following a series of different steps. So far, we've only tried four different dishes: pizza, steak, salads, and coffee. All of them were pretty easy to understand and prepare, and serving them felt genuinely satisfying.The longer you keep your restaurant running, the more stars you earn, which unlocks additional upgrades for your restaurant. You can get a better stove, more counter space, or more plates for your waitstaff, for example.
We did about five runs in total, and with each run, we managed to last a little longer. I really enjoyed seeing how every run unlocked new recipes, items, and layouts that made the game and future runs a little easier.
What I didn't like
We played it as a two-player game, and honestly, I thought it was going to be a cozy little cooking game. Nope. Not even close. As soon as a ONE customer doesn't get the order or has to wait too long, you lose the game. Eventually, we reached a point where it felt practically impossible for the two of us to keep up.The doors? Despite the issues I had with it, I still had a good time playing the game. I picked it up on sale, and I'd say it was definitely worth the money. If you're into management cooking games like this, you'll definitely get your money's worth.Cheers.

\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tOkay, I hate to give another negative review. However, I feel it makes more sense to weight it that way. To be CLEAR, I do still have fun with this game. I do still tepidly recommend it, but I think most of the reviewers didn't give enough details on the pros and cons of the game.
In terms of pros, the game is fun. You and your friends can easily get into a rhythm of chaotically managing the restaruant and feeding customers. It also isn't a hard game to learn the mechanics for (more on that in a min.) And you will find yourself having enough rounds to really rack up some game time.
So why am I giving it a negative review? First, I don't know why but the instructions aren't clear on how to complete certain tasks or make food. My brother and I both played together and gave up on Pizza after about 5 minutes of practice. I think a visual showing that "Hey you kneed once for Pizza and kneeding twice is overdone" like in Overcooked would help. Second, the game suffers from crowded kitchen/dinning spaces. While I get it, it's supposed to be realistic. The game is a struggle because you run out of room so easily because there's no balancing for the dinning area/kitchen. When making dumplings, my brother prefers a small work space due to how limited the counter space is. However, when we're trying to destress the dining area due to the customer rushes, it gets difficult. The biggest issue though is the No Win RNG on every 3 days. Every 3 successful shifts forces you to pick Option A or B for your situation. Usually this is between your focus on the vibe of the place or a No Win situation. For example, Option A will be say "Gain New Recipe for Ice Cream" and Option B will be "Can't see the Client's Patience." And since you can only fail one customer and its game over, you're left in a bind. Option A means more work while Option B means more guesswork and stress. And it's semi-RNG so you're stuck. It doesn't help either than your blueprints are limited and random as well. Add onto this that there's also the extremely unbalanced payment system. For cooking Coffee, you get 1 coin. For cooking Dumplings, you get 8. That's a big problem since it means upgrading your place depends on getting a better recipe. And then for Dumplings, you'll likely have to add on Mashed Potatoes or Broccolli Soup and both are very long cook dishes which further puts a strain on keeping track of anything. Hence why there's no win situations here. You either get no cash or you end up trying a harder meal and hope your RNG is good enough to avoid having to make Soup and Mashed Potatoes on top of Dumplings.
