\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tSo i fully completed the game 100% explored pretty much everything and i still cannot recommend the game. It's not metroidvania is linear but story is predictable. The game only took me 8h to complete and i saw some area not even completed that it suppose to be something but they didn't do any entrance. I did google it. There much better games to grab regarding this type of style games. Only bug that couldn't move after being revived. But otherwise no bug if it's on high sale sure but other wise don't.
Edit : After Developers i would maybe go for next game and make different if you making metrovoidania it has to be explorable from multiple angles not just linear. When if you create area them fully not just leaving the door that is closed and not able to open ? Maybe that could lead to hind for DLC but other wise for most completinist player i they would think it's a secret but then they found you can't get there why it's there at all it's doesn't look like athestic is more like a passage. Combat wise i felt main point was first boss felt best i dunno but atleast for me fighting monster felt better then bosses for all others because i could combo something. Then later i need to hit enemys in air and hit as much as possible it din't feel like proper fight they was like boring and lets get me out here. I aggree for platforming was good not the best but good. If you play on hardest dificulty they could feel more then chore. If toned down the spikes it could probably felt better. I did complete before the hardest difficulity as i didn't wanted to play one shot thing. That's more for speed runners. (Mode fine to leave if some people enjoy that.)

If you make another game in the future, I think there is definitely potential here, but I would approach some things differently.
If you are aiming for a Metroidvania, I think the world needs to be more open and explorable from multiple directions rather than mostly following one linear route. If an area looks like it should be accessible, I would either make it accessible or design it in a way that clearly looks like part of the environment. Otherwise, completionist players may spend a lot of time looking for a secret entrance that simply doesn't exist.
Combat also had some good ideas. For me, the first boss was actually the most enjoyable boss fight. Fighting normal enemies often felt more satisfying than fighting later bosses because I could use and combine more of the game's moves.
With some later bosses, it felt like I mostly had to launch enemies into the air and hit them as much as possible rather than properly using the combat system. Those fights became repetitive and sometimes felt more like something I wanted to finish quickly rather than enjoy.
The platforming was good overall. I wouldn't call it the best I've played, but I enjoyed it. On the harder difficulties, though, some of the spike sections can start feeling more like a chore. Toning them down slightly could make those sections feel better without removing the challenge.
I completed the game on the difficulty below the hardest one because I wasn't interested in the one-hit style of difficulty. I think that mode is perfectly fine to keep for players or speedrunners who enjoy that kind of challenge.
The game also has a decent number of combo moves, but some of the charged attacks feel a little slow and awkward to use. Against bosses, several abilities also felt almost pointless.
I think the boss combat could become much more interesting if certain combos worked against particular bosses while others didn't. Bosses could have different resistances, immunity windows, openings, or mechanics that encourage the player to learn when and how to use different moves.
You already have a good number of combat abilities, so being able to properly chain them together and use different combinations depending on the enemy could make the combat much more satisfying.
Consumables also make the game extremely easy if you use them regularly, so some balancing there could help as well.
I understand that changing all of this in the current game would probably be unrealistic. These are mainly suggestions for a future game because I do think there are some good foundations here.

\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tI'm really mixed on this game. I followed it because it was listed as a Metroidvania, so keep that in mind as I make my comments.
1. Graphics and sound are fine. I had no issues with the art style or sound. It's a 2D platformer, and it felt modern enough, even with stylized graphics.
2. Controls: overall the controls felt really good. I was glad to see controller support for my preferred controller, and it also allowed customization of controls if needed.
3. Difficulty. There were some strange difficulty spikes at certain points, sometimes in terms of number of enemies in a crowded space, and some where very long platforming sections required you to start over if you made one mistake. There is also a strange mechanic where killing enemies produces "chaos" orbs which you collect, and as you collect more orbs, the enemies become more difficult. There is really only one reason to collect Chaos, and you can work around it by buying a potion which gives you max chaos, which is what I suggest for the areas where you actually need it. Otherwise, the enemies are needlessly difficult, and it just doesn't make much sense. Maybe this was supposed to be fleshed out into something more, but the Dev team didn't really make anything unique or interesting out of this mechanic. I was playing on the 2nd difficulty out of 4, so it could be easier by one level for someone wanting less challenge.
4. There isn't much depth. The economy is basically collecting shards or an occasional temporary power up. What do you use the shards for? Buying more temporary power ups. There are 3 unique power ups throughout the game. One of them is an extra life point, which is definitely worth purchasing. One is something I thought would be plot related but does absolutely nothing at all except earn you an achievement. The last one is for fun and gives you a funny plot scene.
5. There is no other way to gain gear, level up, or advance your character outside of the game giving you abilities that you need a certain points to progress. There are some optional abilities you can earn through special "bells" that can be activated when you are at maximum chaos level, but again, the temporary power up to max your chaos will help you achieve that prerequisite. The abilities you gain from the "bell" challenges are nice, but not necessary to complete the game.
6. The story is about what I'd expect it to be for a game of this style. It's not the best story you've ever experienced, but you wouldn't expect that in a Metroidvania or platformer anyway.
7. Length: The game is rather short. Some other reviews mentioned that the dev team was swapped up halfway through game development, so maybe that's why we were left with a shorter game, but if you want something that will last 50+ hours, this is NOT your game. I beat it with 16 hours on my save file, but that includes a ton of AFK time as well, so I'm not sure what the real game time was.
8. Polish. The game was bug free and looked great for me. I know some people mentioned bugs in the game or graphical glitches, but I didn't expect any of that. I was actually quite impressed with how smooth the gameplay was.

The animations are stunning, the bosses are fun, and the areas and characters are also vibrant. It was shorter than i would have liked, and i am sure the dev probably just needed to get this out. It is a complete package, but when i was finished i wanted to play more, so i figured i'd continue and get 100% completion for maybe a different ending or extra boss, but there is no teleporting in this game, so i am just.....done, i guess. I could not stand the writing because it felt clunky, unnatural and "millennial." The gameplay was boring, and you don't get the the staff - key weapon and greatly advertised in the promo art - until your're an hour into the game. Until then, you only have limited unarmed combat abilities which was not fun. I wanted to like this game but I couldn't because of these and other factors.
