\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tWith over 2,000 hrs clocked on this game i think i can give a real review, this is coming from a lifetime gamer in his late 30s.
This game is not for everyone, it takes ages to get through the tech tree, and you will likely bottleneck and become stuck in the 1st, 2nd, and even 3rd playthrough. There is a lot of long term planning to put into everything you do after leaving the first system, failing to do so will result in becoming stuck most of the time.
Now, if you like a game that takes weeks to play not hours, has infinite possibilities, and can be played with countless strategies and outcomes, this is it. When i want a project to focus on outside of the normal daily life this is my goto. The level of detail needed to achieve high levels of white science and then not letting the game run for hours to unlock said high levels is a blast for me.

The devs were very active the first two years.

If you are a fan of having to setup automation that can take up hours and hours just to get tiny bits of progress that slowly build into huge accomplishments along with that feeling of accomplishment after a big project finally comes to fruition then I highly recommend this game. The physical separation between worlds and being able to build a factory on one planet and efficiently process material from another one brings home the value of long-distance logistics in a way I never got from Factorio. After playing Dyson Sphere Program you will never again wonder how a single stuck barge in a single canal can bring the world's economy to a screeching halt.
Oh, and it's beautiful, absolutely gorgeous, and only gets prettier the deeper into the endgame you get.
Not without its warts: the transition between game stages and automation are a bit rough - just remember you have a LOT of room to expand and you don't have to convert your old factories to new technologies, and you'll do fine. The Dark Fog can be aggravating until you get a handle on feeding the automatic turret systems. High-end factories can hit framerate pretty hard, even on high-end hardware; there are some mods that help with this.
Oh, and the English voice acting is... unintentionally hilarious. Not bad, just... well, you'll see what I mean when you start manufacturing "Missile Tourette's (sic)".
Blueprint websites (once you upgrade your own tech enough) can be a BIG HELP with this game.

I was really curious about the game because I loved Satisfactory, so I decided to give it a shot. I have to say, I was a little skeptical at first, but once things started clicking, I couldn’t stop playing.
By my third playthrough, I was completely addicted. I’ve been watching YouTube videos nonstop, learning new ways to build, improve my factories, and achieve things I didn’t even know were possible.
I only started playing this month, but I already know I’m going to keep playing for a long time. There’s always something new to learn, improve, or build.

It avoids the inevitable late-game spaghettification by making a mid-game switchover to logistics systems that move resources through the air automatically, instead.
Its heavy focus on actual SPACE is unique and wonderful: your starting planet is actually *round* and even has seasons; the midgame starts when you're forced to head into space to start mining other worlds for titanium and hydrogen; the mid-to-late game energy crunch is solved by BUILDING A DYSON SPHERE (and eventually you build a *bunch*). The switch from planet to space to star back to planet is also all completely seamless, no loading screen; you just take off and start thrusting to reach space, then activate warp drive once you get a bit away from the gravity well, all in one continuous action stream.
And I can't say this enough: this game is BEAUTIFUL. The sight of your first Dyson Sphere setting below the horizon as the gas giant your moon is circling takes up half the sky, with that sky filled with the beautiful colors of sunset, as your logistic drones skim across the surface... it can make you emotional.
The enemy content is still, at this point, a little basic, but enough to be interesting without being annoying. There's plenty of rewards for engaging with it, tho you can also turn it off entirely if you want.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t
