Angela (the director of the library) is such a sweet and caring person, especially towards Roland. Malkuth, Hod, Netzach and Yesod are amazing.

\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\tI bought this game after beating Canto 4 in Limbus Company,and IT WAS THE BEST PURCHASE I'VE EVER MADE.The best in the trilogy,the game is difficult but very fun to play,the story and the characters are PEAK,the deck building at first may seem difficult but after a while you get the hang of it.

- The game is a sequel to Lobotomy Corporation, and a lot of the story initially revolves around it and what happened there, on top of that, most of the main cast comes from it and a lot of their stories were throughly expanded upon in here, it is highly recommended to play Lob Corp first before you play ruina, preferably 100%'ing the said game for the best expirience, although if you do not enjoy the gameplay LobCorp provides it is fine to come straight to here, since you will still get to know the chracters but will just be lacking the depths of knowledge regards to them.
- This game is one of the most enjoyable games i have played, really compelling stories in gaming that has a lot of references to some of the literature (ik insane that a game about the library takes inspiration from literature), many people criticize the game for being grindy, which in my opinion is simply false, i've rarely had to re-do fights unless i got really unlucky with burning the books, plus the game gives you a few ways to increase your yield of books eitherway later down the line.
- Do note that you HAVE to read a lot, both the storylines as you go and abilities, and by that i mean you have to read it throughly, there have been quite a few moments in my playthrough where my full of confidence ass lost an important clash or a character because i understood the ability wrong.
- Regarding the story, you technically can skip it but the emotional value of the story here is like a giant part of the appeal for the game, you will have a way less enjoyable expirience if you don't plan on reading the story, i'd say it takes atleast 1/4 to 1/3 of the gameplay hours depending on how fast you can read.
Overall i personally highly recommend the game, considering that i had no liking towards deckbuilders nor have i really played anything like that gameplaywise, it was very good and a lot of fun, the only thing is that the game is a slowburner, which means in the first few hours it'll be quite boring gameplaywise to get you used to the gameplay and how everything works.

Coming from Limbus Company, I really enjoyed the world building that I learned more about. This helped me better appreciate the in game universe that both games share. Now that I'm up to date with the latest Limbus Company canto, beaten Ruina and read Distortion Detective and Leviathan. The only thing left is to play Lobotomy Corperation, I'm a little scared as while I can read, I have trash memory so I feel like I'm gonna struggle.

I remember almost a year ago my friend recommended I get this game. I was really unsure if I would like it sooooo I lowkey just never got it. But then this June the steam summer sale went on and this game was like 10$ so I just decided that I'll play it and if I didn't like it I'd refund the game. I ended up playing this game almost non stop for about the next 2.5 - 3 months and I can 100% say that this game is great and one of the most rewarding and fun games I have played. One big reason why I like this game so much is because it was a change in pace compared to literally EVERY other game that I play. My favorite game series is the soulsborne series known for being challenging and often relying on fast reaction timing and memorizing boss movesets. The character design is incredible, despite most people wearing suits they are pretty distinct, to the point you could recognize most of the cast with just their shape.

It can be very demotivating, as a lot of fights in the late-game are very difficult and can take a whole hour to complete, with losing forcing you to go back to the start. The next phase of a fight sometimes has a gimmick that completely ruins the run, and without spoilers or a warning, there was no way you could avoid it.
- Losing a story fight means you lose the books you burned. What this translates to is the game, for whatever reason, forcing you to go back to the fights in the story you already finished, and regaining all those books just to reattempt the fight. If you lose again, the process repeats.

Library of Ruina was not the game I expected it to be. I really do not like games of this genre as they're extremely tedious, attention-heavy, difficult and confusing. The payoff or "reward" for completing a game like this is typically the satisfaction of the ending... the curtain closing on a story you struggled over and over again to achieve, losing battle after battle. In simplicity, Library of Ruina hooks you well at the start, keeps that hook during the mid-game, and gradually fumbles more and more until it ends. So as you can tell, the game is flawed in that regard, but at its core, it is a wonderful game clearly made out of passion and love, and it is an amazing experience. Pros
