It may be worth it on sale if the playerbase is still up for its multiplayer. It also features decent campaign segments that rival BF 1 and are far better than BF 6's campaign.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

Missions seems pretty long, and I would have preffered it being split into induvitial missions instead of one long episode with no breaks or good save points.

Any stint of fun is ruined by ur game just freezing every 5minutes. sometimes its fine and runs smooth and you think wow i love this game, then for the next 3 days its β₯β₯β₯β₯β₯β₯β₯β₯β₯. if ur playing for gameplay alone, get any other battlefied, bf4 although more raw is just as fun and gets alot more community support.

BFV this time around attempts an open world style mission, letting you choose which objective to do first. However, the gameplay is so linear and scrpited. A memorable moment for me was during the first mission, and you're Billy Bridger. Near the end of the mission, you must take out a half-track, but the german inside the halftrack is impervious to bullets, despite being exposed on the gunner mount. Even at point blank range, bullets do not register. To top it all off, i threw a stick of dynamite at the gunner and ended up killing him, but the half track was still shooting me with 100% accuracy, and no one to actually shoot the gun. The game makes you use a field gun, or oddly enough, a rifle grenade, albiet weaker than a standard stick of dynamite, so again, crappy gameplay mechanics and lack of immersion.
There are also llittle things like different weapons during cutscences compared to what you use in the gameplay. Billy in one of the cutscenes has a Sten, but when you start the mission, you are given a M1A1 Thomson, and a Sten never appears.
Then there are issues with tracking. If i have to respawn during the campaign, the game will not replinsh my gadget ammo and many times it regenerates enemies that you've already killed before hitting the checkpoint.

Soon as you install it Steam wants to link to the EA app account, and install the app. Well, I did that and the game took literally 2-4 minutes to even get to the menu, but even worse than that, there's this intro that you can't skip over, and it's like when is this β₯β₯β₯β₯ gonna end? lmao Well it takes you to controlling this plane that has such bad keybinds that you can't even control it not that it matters it's just a preview, but whatever the case, uninstalled. BF4 was far better (and didn't take forever to load) even with the sound issues and Black Ops Cold War with all their bugs were more worth it than a game that shouldn't take forever to load. Cold war is in fact bigger than this game, so that's not the problem, I think it's EA.\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

In any and all older EA multiplayer games, you will always face cheaters, making most games unplayable. This game is certainly no exception. In fact, they noted a glitch exploit that allows people to fire the anti-tank rifles super fast, game breakingly fast, and they officially said "No that's fine" because it's no longer their bread winner, and they don't want to put in the effort to fix literally anything.

The War Stories are well made, with beautiful environments and solid gameplay. While not every story is equally memorable, they offer a good variety of perspectives and are definitely worth playing.
Multiplayer β 10/10
Battlefield V has some of the smoothest gameplay in the entire series. The movement feels incredibly fluid, gunplay is satisfying, and teamwork is heavily rewarded.
The destruction, fortification system, vehicles, and large-scale battles create exactly the kind of Battlefield experience I love. Whether I'm playing Conquest, Breakthrough, or flying across the map, every match feels exciting.
Even years after release, Battlefield V remains one of my favorite Battlefield titles.
Graphics β 10/10
The graphics still hold up incredibly well. Lighting, weather, explosions, and sound design are outstanding, making every battle feel immersive and cinematic.
