I like this one even more than the first one honestly even though I miss Zagreus a lot ;-; Talking about gameplay Hades II is the next level compared to Hades, it's WAY more fun to me and now it's my comfort game that I keep coming back to even after getting all the achievements.
I'm OBSESSED with Scylla ngl, I don't remember a character from a game who would bring me so much joy in my last years of gaming. The idea, the image, the dialogues, the songs, everything is sooo cool about her and the sirens. I'm also in love with how they portrayed Echo, her theme music being a reflection of Narcissus's melody, the way they write her boons names/answers with text fading, all these details bring sooo much to the game ;-; tbh I could go on forever writing about things that I like in the game lol
I'm only upset that Prometheus isn't romanceable </3
If you are interested in the game I also suggest watching documentary about Hades I (and documentary about Hades II is being made rn afaik), Supergiant are the best folks and I love this studio deeply. Can't wait to see what they cook next <3\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

- Everything that Hades did well, Hades 2 did even better. One of them was increasing the number of weapon aspects available and adding new creative ways of playing with them, making nearly all gods and weapon combinations at least viable.
- The story and artstyle isn't as heartwarming and colorful as the first game. Instead the sequel is a bit more gloomy. This time it features a big plot twist once you reach the "true ending" of the game, that will surely surprise people who aren't as familiar with Greek Mythology.
- The main character, MelinoΓ«, despite not being as funny and charismatic as Zagreus, is still very iconic and features lots of funny moments in game due to her more serious personality.
- Essentially, if you enjoyed Hades, you will likely enjoy Hades 2 even more!

This game isnβt just super accurate when it comes to Greek Mythology but it respects the player so much. It tells you what gifts characters want, which locations has the items you want, what exactly does the boons do etc. It doesnβt waste your time.

Hades 2 is even better than Hades, there's a lot of new aspects and the game also feels like it offers a lot more compared to the first entry of the series. The big "W" here for me is the fact that the developer managed to make Hades 2 feel fresh yet, very familiar for those who played the first one, is like you never left the first game but at the same time everything is new. As much as it offers a lot of new gameplay mechanics that makes it super entertaining and never boring, the story makes it very silly with long useless conversations and shallow story that don't make any sense, 90% of character dialogues offer 0 extra info that relates to the story.
I'd still recommend the game for the fun gameplay it offered in return to the cheap price, it's not like I paid a AAAA game, devs are very appreciated for that and that what made me buy it without hesitation.

At the end it doesn't make any sense that the new good chronos is able and have much power than other realty chronos that he's able to manipulate their reality and kill them even while they're very powerless, don't know anything and can't feel anything !!
