deckbuilding itch for a short while, but that's about it. There's nothing it does better than other games in the genre.<br><br>The unique point is monsters show up at the bottom of the level and then progress over the floors to the engine/pyre which you must protect. There are some fun combos, but nowhere near the level of StS. Many cards fulfill the same purpose. Map/path choices are just a binary choice before a battle and don't feel very interesting (upgrade one thing or the other? more money or engine health?). So many relics are just a boring number boost. The setting is interesting (you're on a train defending a magical fire from the forces of heaven to restore hell), but no story whatsoever past 30sec intro. The style makes it feel like a mobile game. right. but i think that's mostly a skill issue. it's fun. i love the variety of play and deck construction. i've played through it three times now. beat it two of those times. it felt challenging. it was easy to figure out the different game mechanics. the game provides a lot of information to figure stuff out. and in a format that doesn't feel heavy handed or intrusive<br><br>the game looks and
