What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Community engagement is the primary objective of Early Access for DISRUPTION.

Episode I is completely playable as the Nutropolis environment, drones, weaponry, and characters have been designed, built and tested.

Early Access allows the community to enjoy and support the game while our design and development teams work on Episodes II and III, while providing us with valuable gameplay insights and feedback.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“DISRUPTION will be in Early Access for three months starting in May 2019. Updates will be scheduled for every month following the initial release. These updates will further the story with new missions, new enemies, weapons, power-ups, and storylines. There will be slight increases in DISRUPTION's cost with each new release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of DISRUPTION will include the addition of Episodes II and III.

Episode II will take place on Snake Island with a battle with AriseRobotics forces to rescue your compatriot.

Episode III takes place at the AriseRobotics secret development and deployment factory.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Gameplay and functionality are complete and DISRUPTION is playable for Episode I, however several UI and sound elements remain to be polished.

Episode I takes place in Nutropolis and sets up the story for the rest of the game.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. DISRUPTION will have an initial Early Access release price, with a small price increase with every monthly game update starting in Summer 2019.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Players in DISRUPTION's community will have the opportunity to participate as front-line soldiers and field reporters in regards to the game's evolution.

Players will be also be encouraged to report bugs or visual anomalies via screenshots via support@outnumberedgames.com.”

About This Game

DISRUPTION is a third-person fight for the future of humanity set in the near future, quasi-dystopian world where robots, driven by the global corporate imperative for cheap and obedient labor, are displacing humans at all levels of the workforce. Social components from privacy, intimacy, and employment are all in states of disruption. The human fighting forces themselves are facing obsolescence.

In the meantime, one multinational technology corporation has insidiously developed, manufactured and deployed a weaponized humanoid (robotic) corpo-military fighting force. Having recently achieved force size critical mass, their march for world domination commences.

Their plan - lower the high cost of humanity maintenance via the methodical elimination of most humans, thus concentrating the world's wealth amongst the survivors.

Who can stop them?

Forces United.

Forces United are a diverse team of international fighters bound together to fight against the humanoid forces of Arise Robotics the evil high-tech, multinational corporation marching towards geopolitical domination.

As part of the Forces United fighting team, your initial objective is to survive the seedy underbelly of the LED District of the city of Nutropolis for a rendezvous with a renegade Arise Robotics developer who possesses encryption keys of the NNOS (Neo-Neural Operating System) that controls the Arise Robotics force.

Hacking the NNOS may be the the only way to defeat them.

Survive Nutropolis and you will move on even harsher environments engaging in more intense battles with some seriously weird and deadly machines.

And toys from your nightmares.

Disruption awaits.
