What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“For us, Early Access is the best way to polish parameters and gather feedback from our community. The game is stable and playable, still, we see a room for improvement. We are going to make several iterations more to achieve the best balance possible and tweak some features.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our current estimate is around 6-8 months. We will use this time to make sure the players' experience is smooth and the game is bug-free!”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the full version, we are planning to get more convenient GUI, better balance and some additional features. All the core functionality is delivered in Early Access version. We may add new features basing on the community feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently, we have the basic gameplay cycle fully functional, the game still requires balance tweaks and may have some minor bugs.

Core gameplay features available in the current version:
  • Character creation (create a character and get skill points depending on your choices).
  • Inbox (receive CVs from potential employees to accept or reject them; get notifications about core milestones in IT industry to see how it affects you company; get new requests from customers and reports when the project is finished and shipped).
  • Accepting clients' projects or starting in-house ones (choose core parameters and assign employees).
  • Project management (assign resources, manage employees, complete tasks and fix bugs to achieve the best results possible).
  • The multitude of personal traits and working skills for your employees (run your company depending on the soft and hard skills of each team member, manage vacation time, salaries, employees' satisfaction).
  • Methodologies and frameworks (apply different methodologies while running a project to get better results).
  • Reputation and Public relations (improve your reputation by finishing projects successfully to get more opportunities while recruiting, taking loans, etc.).
  • Improving the office (purchase new devices and working tools for your company, choose different types of office space to increase the productivity of your team).

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“It depends on the feedback we get. If we see the strong demand on even more strategically complex and realistic gameplay, the final price may get higher than Early Access price. Otherwise, the price will remain the same.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have dedicated community managers to collect feedback from the community. We highly value any input from our players.”

Patch Notes 1.4.9

Remember those traits that each employee has? Projects got them too! Some of the projects are purely marketed and slightly affect your company’s popularity. Some projects are just purely financed, but your employees are happier doing it. Lots of variability in terms of fitting projects and the team.

  • Save logic is removed. 1 slot = 1 walkthrough. You can’t save the game before the tough decision. Sorry, that’s life.
  • Notifications about crucial situations in the company will pop up. For now they mostly inform about the lack of money.
  • Names of the employees are generated basing on the ethnicity of the one.
  • New office logic. In order to move to a bigger office space, you need to pay its costs immediately. The smallest office doesn’t get downgraded if the company has no money to afford it. Instead, its upkeep cost is subtracted from the current amount of money, which results in negative money amount (bad sign for the company).

Huge and small bugs fixed:
  • We’ve received a lot of complaints that game saves were broken and are impossible to recover. Now all of your saves should work just fine. Let us know if it’s not the case!
  • Employees don’t leave the company when they are on vacations or plan to go on vacation, allowing you to change their mind before they leave.
  • You can choose an option with no accessory on character appearance creation

Stay tuned, speak out

Friday Patch 1.4.5

Hey there! A few more updates from us before weekends:

We’ve redone the description of the employees.
They are telling their perspective on certain things about their job including the complexity of tasks, balance between working and learning and so on.

It’s also displayed how do their thoughts affect their happiness level, and as a result, work efficiency. In order to keep your team motivated, it’s required to react to happiness decrease.

The next week we will introduce a few more mechanics in the game.
Thank you so much for the feedback left in the community hub, discord and everywhere else. It is really important to grow the game you are interested in playing!
