Russian Roulette: One Life is an experimental, free to play, skill based game which gives you only ONE LIFE to play the game. If you die in the game, you can't play it again. Your score before death determines how close your gravestone is to the center.

Coming soon

I'm working on a bunch of stuff.

Wishlist my next game here:

1. A free to play game experience structured like an addiction. You can try your best to avoid the substances but once you get “addicted” you have to play this game once every 24 hours. If you miss a day, you can't play it anymore.

2. Russian Roulette One Life will get a multiplayer update.
Comes after my next game.

3. Two more games that I don't want to talk about just yet.

Battle Royale : One Life

One warehouse. One gun with 6 bullets. One opponent. One life.

Here's my next idea. A game where you have one chance to EARN the right to play the battle royale mode.

You are pitted against one other opponent in a small warehouse. You have one gun with 6 bullets. You have an opponent that is just as desperate as you.

No vehicles. No items. No crafting. No supplies. No parachuting. No level progression. No building. No shrinking circle. No fancy weapons. No teams.

Just you going Mano a Mano against another human player for a chance to play battle royale mode.

So half of all players are instantly eliminated.

People who lost the first Mano a Mano round can't play the battle royale at all. People who win the one on one mode can play the battle royale game for free forever.

Monetisation:
Cosmetic only items for people who make it to battle royale mode.
Gameplay will remain the same in battle royale mode. Just more players. Same small arena.

Problems I anticipate:
Hackers.
Bugs on account of me being a shitty programmer.
The possibility of wiping leaderboards and starting over, pissing people off.
Game blowing up and me being stuck with exorbitant server fees.

It will be a 2d top down game. Ultra simplistic graphics. Literally boxes.

Thoughts? Be gentle.

About This Game

Russian Roulette: One Life is an experimental, free to play, persistent-world game with perma-permadeath. You only have only one life to play this game.

You can choose to either play with a blank round or a real bullet. You can practice with blank rounds as many times as you want. Your wins and losses with a blank round won’t count though. The only kills that count are the ones you make when you play with a real bullet. If you play with a real bullet and you die, you cannot play the game again.
The location of the bullet is either deterministic or random. If the selector comes to rest in the green zone, you can exactly tell where the bullet will end up based on what chamber it was entered in. If the selector comes to rest in the red zone, the force is random and you won't be able to tell where the bullet is.

You find yourself in a dark forest. Around you, there are hundreds of graves. You don’t know how you ended up here. You can only see a shack in the middle of the woods. You walk towards it and inside you find a man who offers you a game that you cannot refuse to play...

The game has a leaderboard in the form of a graveyard. Every time a player dies playing this game, a gravestone is added. The players who have a higher number of kills have their gravestones closer to the shack.

You can buy DLC to play the game after you die as a ghost. Your kills as a ghost will go to a different leaderboard. This is not a pay2win game. You cannot pay to get a higher score. All people who buy dlc will have to compete amongst themselves on a different leaderboard. Their scores after death will not affect their scores before their first real death.

Russian Roulette is the prologue for a series of experimental games that I plan to make. The series is named The Divine Tragedy. This series is inspired by Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy.
The mechanics in this prologue aim to convey the finality of death. It is not a choice. It is an inescapable truth.
The only thing you can do is try your best to leave a mark on this world before you go.
